Maserati MC20
The Maserati MC20 is the new mid-engine supercar from the Italian Trident brand, Maserati. Unveiled in September 2020, it succeeds the Maserati MC12. The name MC20 comes from MC for Maserati Corse and 20 for the year.
Developed and produced in Modena, it features a carbon fiber chassis developed with Dallara, a new 3.0L V6 engine, called Nettuno, coupled with an 8-speed dual clutch, which offer a power of 630 hp and a torque of 730 Nm.
With a weight of 1 468 kg, the performances are exemplary: 325 km/h of max speed, 0 to 100 km/h in 2,9 sec and 0 to 200 km/h in 8,8 sec.
If test models are produced in 2020, production for customers starts in 2021. The base price, excluding the environmental penalty, is €220,000. It competes with Ferrari, McLaren and Lamborghini.
