After 1,015, 1,065, and 1,080 HP, the Lamborghini V12 is set to undergo a new evolution, which has already been spotted on the road

In Sant’Agata Bolognese, things are picking up pace. As the Lamborghini Revuelto Although it didn’t go into production until 2024, the V12-powered hybrid supercar already appears to be gearing up for a major update. A heavily camouflaged prototype has just been spotted on the road, and the visible changes are numerous enough to suggest much more than just a minor tweak.

This appearance is all the more surprising given that Lamborghini hasn't really let its Revuelto rest. Following the 1,015 HP model, the automaker unveiled the highly exclusive Fenomeno, limited to 29 units and producing 1,080 HP, and then, more recently, the Revuelto SV 1,065 HP in 2026. And yet, the next model is already on the road.

A new look inspired by the Temerario?

Beneath its thick camouflage, this Revuelto obviously retains its familiar proportions, but its front end has changed significantly. The headlights appear slimmer, while the Y-shaped daytime running lights remain. The front bumper has also been completely redesigned.

Above all, in our opinion, this new design gives the Revuelto a look that's closer to that of the new Temerario. Lamborghini It could thus seek to strengthen the aesthetic connection between its two supercars, while fairly quickly evolving the styling of its flagship V12 model. The changes continue along the sides. The aerodynamic element located behind the front wheels appears to have been removed. In its place is a redesigned rear end topped by a new air intake.

The back end is even more intriguing

However, it’s the rear of this prototype that catches the eye the most. The two hexagonal exhaust tips are still positioned very high up, but everything around them seems to have been redesigned.

The bumper features new cooling vents, and the design of the spoiler no longer follows the contours of the exhausts as closely. Lower down, the diffuser has also been updated, now featuring three vertical fins instead of the four found on the current Revuelto. At this stage, it’s hard to tell whether these changes are primarily for aesthetic reasons or whether they conceal more extensive aerodynamic work. But given the scale of the modifications visible despite the camouflage, Lamborghini appears to be preparing a major evolution of its supercar.

After 1,015, 1,065, and 1,080 HP, what's the next power rating?

The big unknown, of course, remains the powertrain. The Revuelto currently combines its naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 with three electric motors to produce 1,015 HP. The Revuelto SV has increased power to 1,065 HP, while the Fenomeno peaks at 1,080 HP.

This future update could therefore be an opportunity to further advance the hybrid powertrain, but no technical details have been revealed yet. It also remains to be seen whether Lamborghini will take advantage of this update to incorporate certain developments introduced in the most recent models. One source is already mentioning a 2028 unveiling. But seeing such an advanced prototype on the road as early as September 2026 also leaves the door open for an earlier launch, potentially as early as 2027.
