At Lamborghini, new releases now seem to be coming one after another at an impressive pace. On August 14, 2026, the Italian automaker unveiled its new Revuelto SV, a 1,065 HP V12 hybrid supercar that’s lighter and more powerful than the standard model. But barely two months after that unveiling, a mysterious prototype has just been spotted near the Sant’Agata Bolognese plant. And judging by its appearance, Lamborghini might already be working on something even more radical.
A prototype that doesn't look like just another Revuelto SV
It was the famous car spotter Varryx—who is known for filming Lamborghini prototypes near the Italian factory—who made this interesting discovery. In his latest video, several of the automaker’s models pass by his camera, until a Revuelto appears, completely covered in black-and-white camouflage. At first glance, one might think it’s a new prototype of the Revuelto The SV was unveiled in August. However, several details immediately catch the eye.

Notably, the car features a massive fixed rear wing, whose dimensions and design appear to differ from those of the SV. The bodywork also appears to have been modified, with particularly imposing aerodynamic elements. Up front, the bumper has a very aggressive look, while the sides feature air intakes and specific aerodynamic elements. At the rear, the diffuser and high-mounted exhaust tips complete this track-ready silhouette. Varryx himself makes no secret of his surprise when he discovers the car. After noticing the different body panels and the larger rear wing, he wonders: could this be a Revuelto SVJ, or perhaps a one-off creation?
Is Lamborghini already working on a Revuelto SVJ?
This hypothesis is particularly interesting. As a reminder, the Revuelto SV unveiled in August produces 1,065 HP thanks to its naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 paired with three electric motors. It also boasts 80 % of additional downforce compared to the standard Revuelto. With a lap time of 1 min 41.6 s at Hockenheim, set by Marco Mapelli, it has even become, according to Lamborghini, the fastest production car on this German circuit, ahead of the Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale, among others.
So why take it even further? Lamborghini’s history might offer a clue. In the previous generation, the Aventador was first introduced as the SV before being followed by the SVJ, an even more extreme version geared more toward track performance. A Revuelto SVJ could therefore follow this philosophy, with even more advanced aerodynamics, reduced weight, and possibly more power than the SV’s 1,065 HP.
This discovery comes as’another Revuelto prototype, featuring a redesigned front end and a modified rear, had already been spotted in September 2026. Lamborghini therefore appears to be working simultaneously on several updates to its V12 supercar.

Does this new prototype really signal the arrival of a Revuelto SVJ? One thing is certain: just two months after unveiling its 1,065 ch Revuelto SV, Lamborghini seems far from finished with the development of its V12 supercar. And if the SVJ is confirmed, the race for performance could reach yet another new milestone.
