Maserati Quattroporte II

The Maserati Quattroporte II is a large sedan produced between 1974 and 1978. Developed during Maserati's Citroën period, its technical base was derived from the Citroën SM. It adopted front-wheel-drive architecture, a first and unique configuration for a Quattroporte. The styling is by Marcello Gandini. The oil crisis and Citroën's financial difficulties severely limited production.
