A second Ferrari F80 has just been delivered in the same city: it appears identical to the first one but has corrected its main flaw

Just a few days ago, social media users discovered the very first Ferrari F80 delivered in London. The sighting went viral on social media, as it’s still quite rare to spot Maranello’s new hypercar on public roads. But the British capital has already welcomed a second one… and this one has a unique feature that’s sure to get people talking.

At first glance, this new F80 looks very similar to the original. It, too, features a red body paired with numerous black elements: the roof, side mirrors, wheels, aerodynamic components, and a massive rear diffuser. The famous black strip connecting the two headlights is also present—a design signature that continues to divide enthusiasts of Ferrari.

A Ferrari that certainly turns heads

Upon closer inspection, however, a few details set this second F80 apart. The wheels feature a different design than those on the first model spotted in London, but it is above all a much more subtle detail that immediately catches the eye of connoisseurs.

The second Ferrari is equipped with the all-new «Factory Race» exhaust system. Developed by Ferrari, this system is designed for track use and promises a significantly more dramatic sound. This is by no means a minor upgrade, as one of the few criticisms leveled at the F80 since its debut has been precisely its sound, which is considered too subdued—despite a peak output of 1,200 ch thanks to its 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine supported by three electric motors. The first videos shared on social media seem to confirm that this exhaust system radically transforms the hypercar’s personality, delivering a much more spectacular sound than the original configuration.

A well-known owner in the world of endurance racing

Unlike the first London-based example, attributed to Brandon Bailey, this second Ferrari F80 is believed to belong to François Perrodo. A French industrialist and chairman of the Perenco oil group, he is also a well-known figure in motorsports. An accomplished endurance racer, François Perrodo has won four FIA WEC world championships, two victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in his class, and two titles in the European Le Mans Series. He is also a passionate collector and a founding member of La JER, a club bringing together several major enthusiasts of exceptional automobiles. One detail confirms its French origin: despite being in London, the Ferrari is shown with a French license plate in the video.
