We’ve been following Venuum’s V40 project for several months now. Initially unveiled as a series of spectacular 3D renderings, this modern reinterpretation of the Ferrari F40—based on the Ferrari SF90—has since moved on to a much more concrete stage: production. And the Dubai-based tuner has just provided a key update on its timeline. The first completed V40s will be assembled at Venuum by the end of 2026, just before being delivered to their owners. This announcement confirms that the project is now entering its final stretch.
Several V40s built at the same time
«V40 — TAKING SHAPE.» With these few words, Venuum accompanies the latest news about its program. The tuning company confirms that production has now begun and, most importantly, provides some interesting details about how it’s organized.
Unlike conventional production, the V40s are assembled in very small batches. Only two to three cars are built at a time, each one crafted and finished individually according to the configuration chosen by its owner. This approach makes perfect sense given the nature of the project. Beneath the lines inspired by the legendary Ferrari F40 lies a profoundly transformed Ferrari SF90, featuring a new body largely made of carbon fiber and custom aerodynamics. Venuum also announces that power output has been increased to around 1,100 ch.
This modification also affects the car’s identity: once modified and sold in this form, it can no longer be presented as an official Ferrari or freely display the Italian brand’s emblems. The use of Ferrari badges and logos on such a modified model could raise trademark issues and expose the tuner to legal action by the manufacturer. That is why the V40 adopts its own identity and Venuum’s emblems, even though its mechanical foundation remains that of an SF90.
But above all, no two V40s should really look alike. We’d already seen a spectacular white model with turquoise stripes, followed by a much more elegant emerald green version with white wheels. These renderings offered a first glimpse of the level of customization available to customers.
A Special Gathering Before Deliveries Begin
The real news, however, concerns the end of the year. Venuum has announced that several fully completed V40s will be gathered at its facilities before December 31, 2026. This situation will last only a very short time. The cars will then be shipped to their final destinations to be handed over to their owners. In other words, barring any schedule changes, the first deliveries are now expected at the end of 2026 or immediately after this gathering. Before then, Venuum plans to take advantage of this window to temporarily display several cars side by side. The tuner emphasizes that all the V40s in question have already been reserved. It will be more like a family photo before they go their separate ways—and likely a unique opportunity to compare the differences between the ordered configurations.
3D renderings of the road
This milestone will be primarily symbolic for a project that still seemed like a pipe dream just a few months ago. When Venuum unveiled its first images of the V40, it was easy to imagine it as nothing more than a stylistic exercise intended for social media. Then we discovered the first car, disassembled in the workshops, confirming that the conversion was indeed underway.
Venuum now reports that several cars are in production, being assembled in batches of two or three, with completed models expected before the end of the year and owners already awaiting delivery. Now comes the part we’re probably most looking forward to: finally seeing a fully completed V40, outside of 3D renderings, and then experiencing this unlikely modern 1,100 ch Ferrari F40 on the road.
