Ferrari 458

The Ferrari 458 is considered one of the most iconic modern Ferraris. Introduced in 2009, the 458 Italia inaugurates a naturally-aspirated, direct-injection V8, combined with a dual-clutch gearbox and an extremely sharp chassis. It also marked a major stylistic and technological turning point for Ferrari. Subsequently available as the 458 Spider, 458 Speciale and 458 Speciale A, the 458 represents the apogee of Ferrari's naturally-aspirated V8 with rear mid-engine, before the definitive switch to turbocharging with the 488 GTB.

Limited editions

Ferrari has produced several one-offs and ultra-limited series based on the Ferrari 458, as part of the Ferrari Special Projects program for privileged customers. These models are not production versions, but unique or extremely limited creations, designed by Ferrari at the request of specific customers.

Special projects based on the Ferrari 458 Italia

Ferrari SP12 EC (2012): One-off commissioned by Eric Clapton, a tribute to the Ferrari 512 BB, based on the 458 Italia with an entirely specific design.

Special project based on the Ferrari 458 Spider / Speciale A

Ferrari Sergio (2014): Ultra-limited series of 6, based on the 458 Spider, developed as a tribute to designer Sergio Pininfarina.
