There are supercars that spend their entire lives under a cover, kept at a constant temperature in a garage and taken out only for a few car shows. And then there’s this 2017 Pagani Huayra Roadster. Despite being worth around 3 million euros today, its owner has just reached a milestone more commonly associated with a family sedan: 100,000 kilometers on the odometer.
On Instagram, the car’s owner—nicknamed Bob and known by the username @1slocrx—posted a particularly eye-catching photo. The odometer on his Huayra reads exactly 62,137 miles—nearly 100,000 km. That’s a pretty extraordinary distance for a hypercar of which only 100 were produced. And he doesn’t seem to have any intention of stopping there.
100,000 km behind the wheel of a Pagani Huayra Roadster
This Huayra Roadster already stands out thanks to its spectacular Rosso Carbon-colored exposed carbon-fiber body, whose finish reveals the material’s weave. But its mileage likely makes it even more unique.
When asked on Instagram if he owned the Huayra with the highest mileage, Bob admitted that he was actually in second place. According to him, first place belongs to a «legendary Swiss gentleman» whom he doesn’t think he’ll ever be able to catch up to (probably the one we've already talked about). Yet the man spares no effort in his Pagani. The same photo of the odometer shows an estimated range of 361 miles, or 581 km. In response to an internet user surprised by this figure, the owner explains that the tank holds about 20 gallons (75 liters) and that the car can achieve about 20 mpg (12 liters/100 m) on the highway.
A Huayra worth around 3 million euros
Accumulating that many kilometers is all the more remarkable when you consider the car’s value. For example, a 2017 Huayra Roadster with just 312 miles on the odometer sold for $3.415 million at RM Sotheby’s in Miami. Based on market transactions, a Huayra Roadster of this generation can fetch around 3 million euros, although the exceptional mileage on this particular car obviously makes it much harder to estimate its value… In this case, however, the financial value seems to take a back seat to the pleasure of driving. After all, this Huayra isn’t the only Pagani that Bob actually drives.
His other two Pagani cars don't stay in the garage either
His garage also houses a Pagani Utopia Coupé with exposed carbon fiber. Here again, there’s no question of turning it into a stationary sculpture: its odometer has reportedly already surpassed 16,000 miles, or nearly 26,000 km. Nine months after delivery, the Utopia had already surpassed 10,000 miles.
The third car makes the collection even more incredible: a Zonda F Clubsport—and not just any one. It’s the car known for setting a record for a production car on the Nürburgring Nordschleife back in its day.
The Huayra Roadster, Utopia, and Zonda F Clubsport: three of the most coveted Pagani models, regularly brought together at events—and, most importantly, actually driven. In a world where some hypercars cover just a few hundred kilometers before joining a collection, seeing a Huayra with 100,000 km on the odometer ultimately reminds us of something obvious: even at 3 million euros, a Pagani remains a car built to be driven, and the AMG 12-cylinder engine boasts impressive reliability.
