A few days after its official presentationthe Pagani Huayra 70 «Derecho» has left the studio photos behind to make its first public appearance at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed. It’s an opportunity to see this exceptional creation from every angle… but also to witness a very special moment orchestrated by Horacio Pagani itself. Under the English sun, the Italian hypercar immediately turned heads. It must be said that, with only three units planned for production worldwide, every appearance of this Huayra is an event.
A Work of Art Comes to Life at Goodwood
Developed by the Grandi Complicazioni department, the Huayra 70 «Derecho» celebrates Horacio Pagani’s 70th birthday. Its name is inspired by the «Derecho,» a meteorological phenomenon as rare as it is spectacular, capable of generating extremely powerful winds over several hundred kilometers.
In real life, the car is even more impressive than in the official photos. The bodywork combines a spectacular Pearl Orange with a deep Inky Blue that reveals Pagani’s signature «fishbone» carbon fiber weave. The reflections shift with the light, giving the impression that the car is constantly changing color.

The new Titanium wheels, the numerous billet-machined aluminum parts, and the meticulously refined aerodynamics confirm that this Huayra is one of the most exclusive creations ever to roll out of the workshops in San Cesario sul Panaro.
The V12 and the manual transmission are still the stuff of dreams
While its design is captivating, its mechanics will delight purists. Behind the seats sits the legendary 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine supplied by Mercedes-AMG. It produces 864 ch and 1,100 Nm of torque, enough to propel this Huayra to speeds of up to approximately 350 km/h.
But the true star of the cabin is undoubtedly its magnificent exposed gearshift lever. Pagani continues to offer a seven-speed manual transmission, paired with rear-wheel drive and an electromechanical limited-slip differential. The interior lives up to the brand’s reputation, featuring a combination of Ceramic White and Tricolore Blue leather, accented with Pearl Orange trim on the steering wheel and gearshift knob. Each control seems more like a piece of fine watchmaking than an automotive component.

Horacio Pagani personally unveils the car to its owners
But Goodwood wasn’t just an opportunity to present the Huayra 70 «Derecho» to the general public. A video filmed at the Pagani booth captures the unveiling of the Huayra 70 «Derecho.» As the brand’s team removes the black cover from the hypercar, Horacio Pagani watches the scene alongside the two owners, Bruce and Kim. Moments later, the founder poses with them in front of their new acquisition, turning this delivery into a true moment of celebration.

A few moments later, the moment was captured in a photo showing Horacio Pagani alongside Bruce and Kim in front of their new car. This scene perfectly captures the spirit of the Italian brand: when only three examples of a car are produced, the relationship between its creator and its owners goes far beyond the simple delivery of a vehicle.
