Maserati: the Alfieri concept finally goes public!

The Maserati Alfieri concept has finally been unveiled to the public. Initially unveiled in 2014 to mark the centenary of the Maseratithis masterpiece of automotive design is now on display at Turin's Heritage Hub, a place that exudes the history of Italian brands.

The Alfieri concept, a tribute to Alfieri Maserati, one of the brand's founding brothers, is much more than just a prototype. It's rolling, because, based on a shortened version of the Maserati Granturismo platform, whose engine it also shares, promising a sound and performance as exciting as its design.

Not just a tribute to the past, the vehicle had been billed as Maserati's standard-bearer for the future. With its sleek, bold lines, the Alfieri concept drew universal admiration when it first appeared in 2014. Its reception by the public and automotive professionals alike was overwhelmingly positive.. It won the Design Award in the Concept Car category. at the prestigious Car Design Night in Geneva. As you know, the Alfieri was never actually produced...

However, despite this initial enthusiasm, the Alfieri concept was never exhibited again (except at Peeble Beach that same year), until now.. Its reappearance at the Heritage Hub is therefore an event for Maserati enthusiasts, but also for all fans of sports cars and automotive design.

  1. When you see that its design is still unanimous since its presentation on March 05, 2014 in Geneva, I wonder like many potential customers besides, why they don't make it on the chassis of the new Granturismo in coupe and cabriolet with the V6 Biturbo and a Montreal Alfa Romeo on it too.
    Oh no I forgot, Bsuv is more important and so is Tavares' 22 million salary!!!! What a shitty world!!!

    PS: having spent the day with the new Granturismo V6 Biturbo... it's a killer and you can't even feel the fact that it's 4-wheel drive. Having driven it between Valais and Ticino, it's memorable, but for the pleasure to be complete you must also own the Evo 3 from the first version.
