Maserati launches a luxury electric boat!

On the occasion of the presentation of the new electric Grancabrio, Maserati jumps into the water with the launch of the Tridente, an electric boat as elegant as it is powerful. Designed in partnership with marine technology company Vita, this 34-foot boat embodies the essence of the trident brand with an eco-responsible touch.

The Tridente, a true technological feat, is with two electric motors capable of developing a combined 600 horsepower. This sea-going machine can reach a maximum speed of 40 knots, and cruise at a cruising speed of 25 knots for around 70 kilometers before needing to be recharged. Maserati assures us that the 252 kWh battery can be recharged in less than an hour via a DC connection, a remarkable advance for maritime electric autonomy.

Tridente's design is true to Maserati's DNA with clean lines and a lightweight carbon-fiber hull, finished in a vibrant golden pink. The emblematic trident logo proudly adorns the boat's bow, affirming its membership of the prestigious Maserati family. Construction is entrusted to the experienced craftsmen of Hodgdon Yachts in Maine (USA), who benefit from over two centuries of expertise in the manufacture of yachts and tenders.

On board, the cream-colored cockpit can accommodate up to eight passengers. It features two captain's seats and a U-shaped saloon, complemented aft by a large sundeck and swimming area with ladder to the ocean. Forward, a modern helm station incorporates a large touch screen. The boat also features a solar awning to provide shade when anchored. Below deck, the living quarters include a cabin with en-suite bathroom.

The Tridente is part of a trend in which several luxury automakers, such as Porsche, BMW and Polestar, are exploring the all-electric sportboat sector. However, with a starting price of around $2.6 million, the Tridente is the most expensive jewel in the Maserati range.

The new model is already available to order, with delivery scheduled in around 10 months. Combined with the new Maserati GranCabrio Folgore EV, the Tridente offers an emission-free experience, whether on land or at sea.
