The V40 Spyder project continues to take shape. A few weeks after revealing the first stages of production for its spectacular modern reinterpretation of the Ferrari F40, Venuum unveils a new design for one of the six planned models. This time, there’s no white or turquoise: the Dubai-based tuner has opted for a much more elegant combination, featuring an emerald green body paired with white wheels.
However, we must distinguish between fantasy and reality. The images published by Venuum are still 3D renderings. The first V40 is currently being built in the tuner’s workshop, as shown in a video released a few weeks ago. But these new illustrations already give us an idea of just how different the six cars are likely to be from one another.
Emerald green and white rims
After unveiling in July an initial configuration With its white body, double turquoise stripes, and color accents in the interior, the Venuum takes a completely different approach. This new V40 Spyder features a deep Emerald Green that almost transforms the car’s personality. Depending on the light, the green appears sometimes very dark, sometimes much more vibrant. The contrast is particularly striking against the large white forged wheels, while the numerous carbon-fiber elements remain visible.

The tuner describes a balance between «sophistication and aggressiveness.» And it’s true that this configuration is noticeably more understated than the previous one—at least in terms of color. As for the rest, it’s hard to go unnoticed: a massive rear wing, a carbon fiber diffuser, a central triple exhaust, four circular taillights, and gigantic air intakes are still part of the package.
A modern F40 based on the Ferrari SF90 Spider
Behind this silhouette, which features numerous references to the Ferrari F40, lies a profoundly transformed Ferrari SF90 Spider. Venuum replaces a large portion of its bodywork with custom carbon-fiber components and completely reworks its aerodynamics. The SF90’s hybrid powertrain remains at the heart of the project. Its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, paired with three electric motors, is expected to produce approximately 1,100 hp. Venuum claims a 0 to 100 km/h time of around 2.3 seconds and a top speed exceeding 340 km/h. This creates a unique blend of two eras: the aesthetics and certain design elements of the legendary 1980s F40, combined with the technology of a contemporary hybrid Ferrari.

Six copies, and no two are expected to be alike
That’s also what makes this new release so exciting. The V40 Spyder will be limited to just six units, and Venuum seems intent on making each one a truly one-of-a-kind vehicle, customized in collaboration with its owner. So far, no completed V40 Spyder has been unveiled. The video, which shows a partially disassembled car resting on jack stands and surrounded by body panels, serves as a reminder that the project is still in the development phase.

These emerald-green images therefore remain a digital promise. But now that the renderings are out, the most interesting part begins: finding out whether the spectacular 1,100 hp «modern F40 Spider» will retain the same presence once it rolls out of the Dubai workshops.
