Alfa Romeo finally reveals the name of the B-SUV, and we had it all wrong!

Endless teasing about the name of the future B-SUV Alfa RomeoThe first 100 % model made in Stellantis comes to an end. The Italian brand has finally unveiled the name, and it's a surprise. since it's none of the ones mentioned.

So it's not Brennero, Kid, Junior, then Brennero but... MILANO ! So Alfa Romeo isn't using a col name for its future small SUV, like the Stelvio or Tonale, or a name that represents the brand's entry-level range, like Junior, but rather the name of the city of Milan. For the record, this name has featured in the brand's logo in the past. And it recalls the history of the MiTo model name, which was a contraction of the cities Milano and Torino... Perhaps it's also a wink...

On the other hand, we fail to see what this has to do with the latest teasing that his name would be Brenero ?

The Alfa Romeo B-SUV will be unveiled as planned, in April 2024, in Milan. The Alfa Romeo MILANO will be the Italian brand's first 100 % electric SUV, also offered as a mild hybrid. Based on the same platform as the Jeep Avenger and the new Fiat 600, Alfa Romeo has promised "sportier" settings for its SUV. One day, we might even hope that this electric Alfa Romeo Milano will offer 240 hp, like the future Lancia Ypsilon HF.
