Four months after revealing the first details of his incredible commission, American collector Kris Singh has finally taken delivery of his Pagani Utopia «Madonna of the Car Nation.» A one-of-a-kind hypercar, whose paint contains real gold and moon rock particles. And the first images of the car reveal a design even more spectacular than the initial announcements had suggested.
It was at the Pagani Raduno 2026—a gathering featuring several of the Italian automaker’s most exclusive creations—that Kris Singh got to see his new acquisition. With its entirely gold-colored body, this Utopia was impossible to miss, even surrounded by other exceptional Pagani models.
A painting made with real gold and moon dust
As we explained in our previous article, published last June, this Pagani Utopia required more than five years of research to develop its paint finish, dubbed «Lunar Gold.» Developed by the German specialist Karosserie PHL, this paint finish incorporates shavings from a real gold ingot as well as authentic moon rock, which the collector acquired at an auction.

The goal was to reproduce the brilliance of gold on a body that combines carbon fiber and aluminum, without veering into shades that are too yellow, coppery, or bronze. In daylight, the result is striking. The paintwork reveals numerous highlights that accentuate the curves of the Utopia, while the particles incorporated into the finish give it a unique depth. This creation draws its inspiration from the painting The Madonna with the Carnation by Leonardo da Vinci. Kris Singh was particularly interested in recreating the golden accents found on the clothing and furniture depicted in this work. That is where the name «Madonna of the Car Nation» comes from.

An interior where gold is also everywhere
The new images also offer a glimpse into an interior that had previously been only partially revealed. And the collector clearly didn't do things by halves.

The seats combine black leather with gold-colored fabrics featuring intricately detailed patterns. The stitching matches this same color, as do the gauges on the dashboard. But the most striking details are found in the controls: the gearshift lever, its metal gate, and even the three pedals all feature a gold finish. This customization extends to the finest details, conceived in collaboration with designer Pandragram and inspired in particular by the elegance of Italian fashion, which is especially appreciated by Silvia, the collector’s partner. And it’s not just gold paint. Kris Singh reveals that Pagani used a specific process to spray real gold onto the black leather, integrating it directly into the material. The dials and pedals also feature real gold, according to the owner.
An 864 ch V12 engine paired with a manual transmission
Beneath its exceptional bodywork, the Pagani Utopia retains its 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, which produces 864 ch. But Kris Singh made a choice that should delight enthusiasts: he opted for the optional seven-speed manual transmission instead of the automated transmission.
This new Utopia joins an already impressive collection, which includes the Pagani Zonda Arrivederci, Zonda UFO, Huayra BC, and Huayra La Monza Lisa. With its paint finish blending real gold and moon rock, its fully customized interior, and its manual transmission, this «Madonna» once again demonstrates just how far Pagani will go to satisfy the demands of its wealthiest clients. A car that resembles a work of art as much as it does a hypercar.
