It looks like a Lamborghini Aventador on a trailer... it's actually a 50,000 $ boat with a Yamaha engine.

At first glance, it might seem an unlikely scene: a Lamborghini on a trailer, ready to roar on the asphalt. But here, no Italian V12 and no track in sight. What you see is actually... a boat. And not just any boat. Inspired directly by the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, a model as spectacular as it is unusual, has just resurfaced after a remarkable sale. The secret? Beneath its Italian supercar exterior lies a heart... Japanese.

An Aventador... nautical version

This model, christened Watersports Car Series L, was designed by a Miami-based company specializing in these hybrid creations between cars and boats. The result is stunning from a distance: sharp lines, angular lights, aggressive air intakes, carbon-style rims... all the visual codes of the Aventador are there.

At the rear, the mimicry is even more striking, with a huge spoiler, an imposing diffuser and lights directly inspired by the Italian supercar. Even the mirrors and overall proportions seek to reproduce the illusion, although the dimensions quickly betray the nature of the vehicle.

This 16-foot (approx. 4.9 m) boat is built on a fiberglass hull, here in a flashy pink, white and turquoise livery. A choice that further accentuates its “luxury toy” look. On board, two bucket seats welcome passengers into a cockpit inspired by the automotive world. Two-tone upholstery, center console, sports steering wheel, carbon-style inserts... everything is done to recall a supercar.

But unlike a real Lamborghini, the experience here is designed for the water. This includes a marine audio system, a Yamaha Connext multimedia system, and all the equipment needed for navigation: lighting, bilge pump, specific controls, and even a fire extinguisher. The exterior illusion is successful, even if certain details quickly betray the boat's nautical vocation.

A Japanese engine under the hood

This is where the boat gets even more interesting. Forget the legendary Italian atmospheric V12. This boat is powered by a Yamaha 1.8-liter engine, an atmospheric four-cylinder developing around 250 hp. A logical choice in the nautical world, where Yamaha is a benchmark. According to the advertisement, this engine has only run for about six hours, proving that this type of machine is as much a leisure object as a real intensive nautical tool.

Sold well below new price

This model was recently sold in the United States for $50,500. A substantial sum... but considerably less than its original price, estimated at around $84,700. This significant discount is easily explained: this type of vehicle relies above all on its “wow” effect. Once the surprise has worn off, what's left is an original, but niche, boat.
