When people think of Max Verstappen’s car collection, they immediately picture multimillion-euro hypercars, exclusive Ferraris, or Aston Martins capable of rivaling even the most extreme race cars. Yet, amid this dream garage, a small Italian car is now attracting almost as much attention as his most prestigious models: a Fiat!
A Garage Fit for an F1 Star
Since his meteoric rise in Formula 1, Max Verstappen has built up an impressive collection of cars. The Dutch driver, who has become one of the highest-paid athletes in the world, owns several of the most exclusive models on the market.
His garage includes, among other things, a Ferrari Monza SP2a Ferrari SF90 Stradalea Ferrari 488 Pista, a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, as well as several Aston Martins, such as the Vantage, the DB11 AMR, and the DBS Superleggera. Also included are an Audi RS6 ABT Legacy Edition, a Mercedes-AMG C63 S, and even a Honda NSX.
A collection that reflects both his passion for beautiful cars and the various manufacturers he has worked with throughout his Formula 1 career. But despite this collection of supercars and hypercars, it isn’t necessarily one of them that’s generating the most buzz today.
The Fiat Topolino, the garage's surprise guest
In 2025, and then in 2026, several photos went viral on social media. They show Max Verstappen in the port of Monaco behind the wheel of a… Fiat Topolino.
The scene took many passersby by surprise. Seeing a driver capable of handling single-seaters with over 1,000 chevaux driving an electric microcar limited to 45 km/h is almost surreal.
Yet this choice is far from absurd. In Monaco’s narrow streets, the little Fiat proves to be particularly practical. Compact, quiet, and easy to park, it allows you to get around in areas where larger cars quickly become a hassle. His Fiat Topolino is, more specifically, a Dolce Vita Cabriolet model.
