A Ferrari F80 has just gone on sale under a false name for over 7 million euros... how long before the ad disappears?

While the first Ferrari F80 are only just beginning to appear on the doorsteps of a few select customers, a new German announcement has already rekindled speculation about the Italian hypercar. This time, the price has reached an all-time high: 7.378 million euros.

The advertisement was published by the German dealership Autohaus Schwabenhof on a classifieds website automboile. Officially, the model listed is... a «Ferrari F8». And yet, there's no mistaking it: the characteristics displayed correspond to an F80 with its 1200 hp, black Alcantara interior and Rosso Corsa DS 332 configuration. It's hard not to see this deliberately misleading name as a way of confusing the issue.

Added value gone mad

The most striking feature is obviously the price. Ferrari is officially marketing the F80 at around 3.6 million euros before options. Some sellers are already trying to double the stake on a model whose production remains limited to 799 units.

It's not the first time such an announcement has appeared in Germany. Late 2024 then end 2025, other Ferrari F80s put up for sale before delivery had mysteriously disappeared a few days or weeks after publication. Ferrari keeps a close eye on this type of speculation, and generally resents the early resale of its most exclusive models.

An ad already doomed to disappear?

Perhaps the most interesting aspect is elsewhere: will this announcement really stay online? Between Ferrari's anti-speculation policy and the public display of a “build slot” priced at over 7 million euros, it's a safe bet that this German F80 won't remain visible for very long. It remains to be seen whether the ad will disappear because of a buyer willing to pay any price... or after a discreet call to order from Maranello.
