The Maserati Levante is the first SUV in Maserati's history. Introduced in 2016 and produced until 2023, it is based on a platform derived from the Quattroporte VI (M156). With its V6 and V8 engines designed in collaboration with Ferrari, its sporty DNA and typically Italian design, it is positioned as a versatile, high-performance and luxurious premium SUV. A diesel version and a mild-hybrid version will complete the range during its life cycle.

Levante Trofeo Launch Edition - dedicated livery, unique wheels, limited production run
When I bought this Levante, everyone told me the same thing: «You’re going to spend all your time at the garage.» ” Two and a half years later and with over 80,000 km on the odometer, I can say that the reality is quite different. The car now has a little over 115,000 km on it and has served as my daily driver the entire time.
The best thing about this SUV is that it never feels like you're driving a typical SUV. The 345 ch twin-turbo V6 delivers excellent performance, has a pleasant sound, and makes long trips exceptionally comfortable. The red leather seats are still in very good condition despite the mileage.
As far as reliability goes, the track record is quite reassuring. The only real breakdown involved the air conditioning compressor, which suffered an electrical failure. It was an expensive repair, but there were no other consequences. Other than that, we simply had to replace the tires and brake pads.
Even after 115,000 km, there were no major leaks, no air suspension failures, and no major mechanical problems. Ultimately, this Levante taught me above all that you shouldn't always believe what people say about Maseratis.
