One month after its official unveiling, the Totem GT Super «Euforia» has left the carefully chosen setting where it was first revealed and is now on display in a much more ordinary setting. This one-of-a-kind car was recently photographed at night in front of a 7-Eleven gas station in Monterey, California. It’s an almost mundane setting, but one whose atmosphere only serves to highlight the spectacular nature of this modern reinterpretation of the 1960s Alfa Romeo Giulia GT. And the fact that «Euforia» is now on the other side of the Atlantic is, of course, no coincidence.
From Italy to the Roads of Monterey
Presented exactly one month ago, this GT Super marks the second chapter in the collaboration between Totem Automobili and the Neapolitan firm E. Marinella. Its carbon-fiber body stands out in particular for its «Oro di Capri» finish, a three-layer metallic paint inspired by the sunsets along the Amalfi Coast.
It’s a paint job that seems to take on a whole new character once it’s bathed in the California night. Under the gas station lights, the golden highlights reveal more coppery and orange hues, while the four circular headlights up front give the car a particularly striking presence.
Totem Automobili had some fun with this car’s arrival in the United States, noting that it already seems to fit right in with the local scene. Still, with its 640 ch 2.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, six-speed manual transmission, and carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, it’s hard to mistake it for an ordinary car that’s just stopped to fill up.
The Euforia at the Heart of Monterey Car Week
The car’s presence in Monterey confirms, above all, that Totem Automobili has made the trip to one of the year’s most important automotive events. The manufacturer has announced that ’Euforia« will be on display at The Quail as well as at the Monterey Motorsports Festival. This U.S. debut also coincides with the 41st edition of the Concorso Italiano, to be held on August 15, 2026, during Monterey Car Week.
And Totem's trip to California might hold another surprise. The Italian automaker is set to take advantage of Monterey Car Week to unveil a new model. We'll be talking more about this model very soon.

It’s very beautiful; the priority must be to preserve the original design with a direct-shift manual transmission. I hope it will be sold at a fair price that reflects the car’s quality, rather than just making money the ’Italian way.’ Let’s not ruin an icon of our automotive history. Throughout high school in the late ’90s, I was completely obsessed with Chevy and Mopar. Gradually, I learned to respect the Mustang and other forms of rolling art. In some ways, as my taste, respect, and appreciation for cars matured—even though I hadn’t yet seen any Alfa models—I clearly understood the appeal of even a stock Alfa. I mean, just follow those body lines with your eyes until they disappear like magic! It makes my heart skip a beat!
I LOVE IT! Ever since I was 18, I've only ever owned Alfa Romeos—some good, some not so good—but I'm loyal and have kept several of them.
