Lamborghini (accidentally) unveils its new €3,400 car for new parents, limited to 500 units

At Lamborghini, new products usually take their time coming out. This time, however, it was particularly difficult to keep the secret. The next creation bearing the Taurus emblem is neither a supercar nor a new version of the Urus, but a stroller designed for new parents: the Silver Cross x Automobili Lamborghini Reef AL Giallo.

The Lamborghini That Made an Early Appearance

The story begins on August 20, 2026. Information and photos of this new collaboration appear online, revealing practically everything ahead of schedule. Announced price: $3,995, or approximately €3,400. Production: 500 units worldwide. And as its name «Giallo» suggests, Lamborghini yellow takes center stage in its presentation.

The images leave little doubt about the collaboration. Against a black background, the Reef AL Giallo features numerous yellow topstitches and trim, while Automobili Lamborghini badges are affixed in several places on the frame. Silver Cross, however, didn’t stop at just a few logos. The stroller reportedly uses automotive-grade leather and Alcantara, while the polycarbonate carrycot features ventilation and design elements inspired by Lamborghini hoods. The seat combines high-end materials with natural bamboo fibers, featuring Y-shaped patterns reminiscent of those found in the brand’s car interiors.

Large all-terrain wheels, full suspension with visible yellow springs, and a brake pedal inspired by the automotive world are also included. Two rain covers, a sunshade, a cup holder, and a mosquito net round out the set. Each model will also feature a numbered plaque reading «1 of 500.».

24 hours later, the screens went dark

But here's the thing: about 24 hours after it appeared, the information disappeared. Then, on August 24, Silver Cross posted a mysterious teaser on its social media accounts: « BOLD. ICONIC. UNFORGETTABLE. », before announcing the return of his collaboration with Lamborghini and promising that a new design legacy lies «just around the corner.».

The suspense is, of course, relative. The yellow stroller photographed a few days earlier matches the product now being teased perfectly. Everything suggests, then, that the news agency was simply a little faster than the communications department.

A Second Lamborghini for the Little Ones

In fact, this isn't the first Lamborghini designed for those who aren't old enough to drive yet. Back in 2025, the two brands had already unveiled the Reef AL Arancio, which was also limited to 500 units.

This first «Super Stroller» combined Italian leather, high-end suede, and a glossy polycarbonate carrycot with a black frame accented with orange details. It also featured large all-terrain wheels and visible spring suspension, while its seat could accommodate a child from birth up to 22 kg.

The concept of exclusivity, however, should be put into perspective. Despite the announcement that only 500 units of the Reef AL Arancio would be produced in 2025, it is still listed as in stock today on Silver Cross’s U.K. website, priced at £2,995. The stroller manufacturer does note, however, that these are now the «last units available» and points out that each model features a numbered plaque. All that remains now is to wait for the official unveiling of this new Reef AL Giallo. Although, given this minor false start, Lamborghini and Silver Cross will likely have a hard time keeping many more surprises in store for us.
