It's a model as rare as it is desirable that makes its appearance on the Collecting Cars platform: an Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm from 2021, one of 500 produced by the Italian brand to celebrate its return to the sportiest roots of the GTA name. This extreme version of the Giulia sedan, homologated for the road but made for the track, is now being offered at auction with 17,500 kilometers on the odometer.
540 hp for 1.5 tons: a radical sedan

Developed from the Giulia Quadrifoglio, the GTAm takes the concept a step further with in-depth work on aerodynamics, weight and performance. Thanks to a 100 kg weight reduction, it boasts an exceptional power-to-weight ratio of 2.82 kg/hp, aided by an upgraded 2.9 twin-turbo V6 now rated at 540 hp.
This "GTAm" (for Alleggerita Modificata) version goes even further than GTA with :
- polycarbonate side windows and rear window,
- the removal of the rear bench seat in favor of a half-bar,
- carbon bucket seats with 6-point harness,
- carbon-ceramic brakes,
- and engine modifications (new oil cooler, faster connecting rods, pistons and turbines).
An exceptional configuration in Verde Montreal

The model up for auction is distinguished by its Verde Montreal hue, one of the rarest and most sought-after models in the catalog. The interior features black carbon bucket seats with contrasting stitching, and rests on 20-inch black center-fixed wheels shod with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
A collector's item at a rising price
Offered at the time at €176,400 inc. tax in France (GTAm), this Alfa Romeo is now one of the modern cars whose value has already risen on the secondary market. Depending on mileage and configuration, current selling prices range from €200,000 to €270,000, confirming the instant collector status of this Giulia GTAm. The model presented is no. 476/500, and has been maintained at Alfa Romeo, with a last service in April 2023 at 16,700 km.
If you missed the exclusive ordering phase in 2020, this sale represents a rare opportunity to acquire a copy of this limited series, with all the attributes that make it a coveted collector's item. An Alfa Romeo conceived as a supercar, but with four doors and all the elegance and brutality typical of the Milanese brand.
