In the same way as for the MC20, the manufacturer Maserati wants to control the release of the first images of its new car, with the first spyshots made in Modena of the new Maserati GranTurismo.
And we have been waiting for this Maserati GranTurismo ! It was in the Maserati roadmaps for a good number of years. The current one will have been produced from 2007 to 2019, a record of longevity... But how beautiful it is, and this sound of the V8... in short, a real challenge to replace it!
Technically, this new Maserati GranTurismo is based on the excellent Giorgio platform, inaugurated on the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio, Long Wheel Base version. Under the hood, we will find the 3.0L V6 Nettuno engine, probably in a deflated version at first, in the 500 hp range, and, why not in the future, a Trofeo version with more than 600 hp. A full-electric "folgore" version will also be available.
As far as proportions are concerned, it's nice to see that this new GranTurismo respects the size of its predecessor. A coupe sedan.
It is likely that the new Maserati GranTurismo will be unveiled in September 2021, for orders and delivery during 2022.
Finally, the long-awaited avalanche of products!
Mc20, Grecale, granturismo ... with the current levante, ghibli and Quattroporte, the showrooms will be too small!
