In Miami, one-upmanship is a sport in its own right. Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Rolls-Royce... here, supercars pass each other at every traffic light, to the point of becoming almost commonplace. It's against this backdrop that the arrival of a Maserati MCXtrema, numbered 44, was a real eye-catcher at the Trident brand's local dealership.
The story comes from reader James, a Maserati owner. On his way to the dealership for a simple car update, he stumbled across a Maserati MCXtrema :
"My advisor showed me number 44, delivered just a few hours before I arrived. They hadn't even had time to remove the protective film or prepare the interior. It just so happened that a friend of mine had bought it. Can't wait for him to see the photos in this post!"
And James adds, not without humor:
"In Miami, a Maserati is a lot of fun. Ferraris and Lamborghinis are as common as Teslas."

The Maserati MCXtrema is the most extreme ever produced
As a reminder, the Maserati MCXtrema is a true work of Italian engineering. Derived from the MC20, it pushes the concept to the limit: weight contained at 1,250 kg, a Nettuno V6 boosted to 730 hp, and a design tailored to the track, without compromise. Not homologated for the road, only 62 examples of this racing car are available worldwide, exclusively for gentlemen drivers and discerning collectors.
First presented in the summer of 2023, the MCXtrema has since become a symbol of exclusivity. After models spotted in the UK, France, Switzerland and even St. Moritz, number 44 is now arriving in Miami, perhaps marking the model's first delivery to Florida.

Buongiorno. Non riesco ad immaginare l'acquisto di una Ferrari o Lambo per pura vanità. Chi se ne frega se Miami è piena di Ferrari o Lamborghini? La vanità offusca il vero senso della bellezza. Che sia arte o come nel nostro caso, un auto. Che poi alcuni modelli sono arte pura.
Finalmente questa vettura sta riportando la maserati quale sempre stata simbolo di arte, ingegneria, potenza, nobilta. La MASERATI e impareggiabile , inimitabile, nata aristocratica , nobile. NON ESISTONO RIVALI!!!!!!
