Sébastien Loeb has a new race car in his garage! The nine-time World Rally Champion has just taken delivery of a Lamborghini Temerario, the Italian automaker’s new plug-in hybrid supercar. The delivery did not go unnoticed, as it took place in front of several car enthusiasts during a gathering held in Switzerland.

The Lamborghini Temerario turns heads at a car show

Sébastien Loeb was spotted in Gland, Switzerland, behind the wheel of his new Lamborghini Temerario. The French driver, who has lived in Switzerland for many years, attended a car show organized by Klausen Cars, a company specializing in luxury and classic cars.

This Swiss company offers a range of services related to luxury automobiles, from buying and selling vehicles to maintenance, restoration, and storage. It also organizes gatherings for enthusiasts, notably through events like «Cars & Croissant,» modeled after the famous “Cars & Coffee” events.

And for this year’s event, visitors were treated to a wonderful surprise. As shown in photos shared on social media, a Lamborghini Temerario with a matte khaki-green body made an appearance in front of a crowd of onlookers, smartphones in hand. With its bronze-colored wheels, black roof, and particularly aggressive lines, Sébastien Loeb’s car certainly didn’t go unnoticed.

920 HP to replace the legendary V10

With this new purchase, Sébastien Loeb has acquired one of Lamborghini’s latest models. Unveiled in August 2024, the Temerario faces the daunting task of succeeding the Huracán, one of the Sant’Agata Bolognese-based brand’s greatest commercial successes. But unlike its predecessor, the Temerario does away with the famous naturally aspirated V10 engine. In its place, Lamborghini has developed a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, paired with three electric motors, two of which are mounted on the front axle.

The powertrain produces 920 HP, delivered to all four wheels. This power allows the Italian supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h in 7.3 seconds, and reach a top speed of 343 km/h. Another notable feature of this powertrain: despite the use of forced induction, the V8 is capable of revving up to 10,000 rpm—an exceptionally high figure for a turbocharged engine.

A new toy costing more than €300,000

To buy a Lamborghini Temerario, you’ll need at least €310,000—and that’s before you even start browsing the options catalog. The exact price of Sébastien Loeb’s model, however, is unknown. After driving some of the world’s most impressive race cars, the nine-time World Rally Champion has chosen a 920 HP Italian supercar for his personal use. And judging by the crowd that gathered when it arrived at Klausen Cars, this new Lamborghini has already made quite an impression on enthusiasts!
