A year after making its mark with the spectacular Fenomeno, Lamborghini is already getting ready to do it again. And as is often the case with the Bull brand, the story never ends with a simple coupe. According to several corroborating sources, an even more exclusive Roadster version will be unveiled as early as May 2026, at a much-anticipated event.
A long-standing Lamborghini tradition
Lamborghini's “few-off” models almost always follow the same pattern: a radical coupé, followed by an even more desirable convertible. The Fenomeno is no exception. Following in the footsteps of the legendary Reventón, Veneno, Centenario and Sián, all available as roadsters, the new hybrid hypercar is perfectly in keeping with this tradition. Once again, the Italian automaker is capitalizing on a simple but formidably effective principle: offer a version that's even more emotional, even rarer... and, of course, even more expensive.

A Roadster expected as early as May 2026
The Lamborghini Fenomeno Roadster is due to be unveiled at the Lamborghini Arena 2026 event, to be held at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari circuit in Imola on May 9 and 10. A symbolic setting for a car that embodies the brand's technological know-how and extravagance. For the time being, Lamborghini remains discreet, but information is converging: the design should remain very close to the coupé, with the spectacular styling and two-tone treatment that have already caused a sensation at Pebble Beach. Inside, the modern architecture of the Revuelto is to be found, with an ultra-technological cockpit ambience.

Still a V12 hybrid... and still more extreme
Under the hood, there's no revolution, but one confirmation: the Roadster will use the same technical base as the coupé. The hybrid V12 derived from the Lamborghini Revuelto will be used, developing some 1,065 hp.

An already dizzying figure, which should make this convertible version the most powerful Lamborghini Roadster ever produced. As with the coupé, the overall package will be based on an architecture combining a naturally-aspirated engine and electric assistance, with a small battery allowing even a few kilometers in 100 % electric mode.

But that's not the whole story: the Fenomeno Roadster promises a raw experience, amplified by the disappearance of the roof. The song of the open-air V12 could well become one of the most irrational... and irresistible arguments.
Rarer than rare
Produced in a limited edition of 29 in its coupé version, the Fenomeno was already priced at between $3 and $3.5 million. So much for exclusivity... but Lamborghini could go even further.
If historical logic is respected, the Roadster could be produced in even more limited quantities, or at least in equivalent volumes, with an even higher price tag. In any case, these models are already promised to the biggest collectors, even before their official presentation.
With this future variant, Lamborghini once again demonstrates its mastery of the “hype cycle” in the world of hypercars. A spectacular launch, an ultra-limited production run, then an even more exclusive variant to prolong the media attention.
The Fenomeno Roadster will probably never make headlines for its sales volumes. But it doesn't need to. Its role is elsewhere: to make people dream, to reinforce the brand's image... and the manufacturer's comfortable margins! See you in May to discover this new open-air toy!
