In Dubai, the police seem to have a soft spot for Italian supercars. After a 1,050 HP Lamborghini Revuelto Coming Early This Yearthen An 800 HP Ferrari 812 Superfast modified by Mansory Just a few weeks ago, a new Lamborghini joins the police force. And not just any police force: the Temerario, with its 920 HP hybrid V8 engine. Enough to catch up to just about any fleeing driver? Probably. Except that this Lamborghini wasn't really built for that.
A Lamborghini Temerario in police colors
On October 14, 2026, the Dubai Police officially unveiled its newest addition, presented in partnership with Lamborghini Abu Dhabi and Dubai. For the occasion, the Temerario features the traditional white and green livery of the local police force, with the police emblem on the hood and the word «Police» written in English and Arabic.

Beneath this professional exterior, however, lies a particularly impressive mechanical system. The Lamborghini Temerario combines a brand-new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with three electric motors. The result: 920 HP and a 0 to 100 km/h sprint in just 2.7 seconds. This kind of performance would be the stuff of dreams for any rapid-response unit. But in Dubai, the goal is something else entirely.
920 HP to welcome tourists
Because, contrary to what its spec sheet might suggest, this Lamborghini isn’t expected to spend its days chasing reckless drivers on the emirate’s highways. Like the other luxury cars in the fleet, the Temerario is primarily intended for tourist patrols. It will be deployed in areas frequented by visitors and residents, where it will allow police officers to engage with the public.
«Our fleet of luxury patrol cars represents an innovative approach to policing, combining an effective security presence with engagement with the community and tourists,» explains Sergeant Saeed Al Hajri, director of the General Department of Criminal Investigations at the Dubai Police.
In other words, The Temerario will probably be photographed more by tourists than used in car chases. A rather spectacular way to make law enforcement visible and accessible, while maintaining Dubai’s image of luxury and modernity.

After the Revuelto and the Ferrari 812, a new Italian model
Above all, this latest addition confirms a trend that is gaining momentum. In February 2026, the Dubai Police had already received a 1,050 HP Lamborghini Revuelto tuned by Mansory. In September, it was the turn of a Ferrari 812 Superfast V12 with 800 HP to join the fleet, once again thanks to the German tuner. This time, no Mansory conversion has been announced: the Temerario is arriving as part of a partnership with Lamborghini Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

The emirate's police force now owns two of the most powerful Lamborghinis in the lineup: the Revuelto and the Temerario. These two Italian supercars combine for nearly 2,000 HP and are primarily intended to impress visitors.
