Lamborghini unveils a first video of the €15 million boat, featuring the sound of its 7,800 HP V16 engines

Since his presentation At the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show, the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101FT is being unveiled bit by bit. After the first images of its constructionthen the announcement of his award At nearly 15 million euros, here’s a new video that should interest car enthusiasts. Tecnomar has just released a short video showing the stern of the yacht, accompanied by what appears to be the sound of its impressive 16-cylinder engines starting up. And we've also learned some new details about its release and delivery date.

A mysterious video—with the sound of an engine!

In this new post, Tecnomar once again plays up the mystery. The image is dark, and the atmosphere is almost unsettling. Gradually, the stern of the Lamborghini 101FT comes into view, with its particularly aggressive lines and signature Y-shaped lighting, directly inspired by the supercars from Sant’Agata Bolognese.

But this time, we shouldn't just watch. Above all, you have to listen! The video is accompanied by music over which the sound of an engine starting up seems to be layered. It’s hard to distinguish the mechanical sound from the soundtrack, but the sequence gives the impression of witnessing this sea monster’s awakening.

Tecnomar accompanies these images with a message evoking «taste, independence of spirit, and the pleasure of choosing for oneself.» It’s a very Lamborghini-esque approach to marketing, one that cultivates a sense of exclusivity around this yacht, which is still under construction.

Three V16 engines and up to 7,800 HP!

As a reminder, the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101FT is 31 meters long and is powered by three MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesel engines, each with 16 cylinders. Since its unveiling, the power figures have changed regularly: initially 7,600 HP, then 7,900 HP in some announcements. A new marketing announcement reviewed by Italpassion now lists 7,800 HP, equivalent to three 2,600 HP engines. This is enough to reach a claimed top speed of 45 knots—approximately 83 km/h—and a cruising speed of 35 knots.

One question remains: Does the video actually let us hear those engines, or is it a sound effect added during editing? Tecnomar doesn't specify.

A price confirmed at 14.9 million euros

We also found a listing posted by Interyachting Ltd. The Lamborghini 101 is listed there at €14,900,000, confirming the figure of approximately 15 million euros mentioned last September.

Another announcement, from Ocean Yachts Group, provides some particularly interesting information. It concerns the first 101FT yacht, currently under construction in Marina di Carrara. Its hull and superstructure are reportedly already complete, and the future owner still has the opportunity to customize certain interior elements.

Will the first delivery ultimately be postponed until early 2028?

The biggest surprise in this announcement has to do with the timeline. While Lamborghini and Tecnomar had previously indicated that the first delivery would take place in 2027, The unit currently under construction is now scheduled for January or February 2028.

Another interesting detail: YachtDeals lists a delivery time of 24 months after signing for this model. A customer ordering a new unit today might therefore have to wait until late 2028 or even early 2029. The first unit thus appears to be running a few months behind the initial schedule. In the meantime, Tecnomar continues to build anticipation with its videos. And after getting a look at its stern and perhaps hearing its engines, there’s only one thing left to do: finally see this 31-meter Lamborghini set sail!

    • Actually, I don't know why it doesn't go any faster… but I see a 30-meter length, two 12,000-liter fuel tanks… so 24 metric tons of fuel… and I also see a weight of 176 metric tons. That might explain the 7,800 ch for a top speed of 45 km/h. This is a far cry from “light is right”! The Lamborghini 63 will probably be better suited for speed.
