Value Progress, a Japanese tuner whose name seems questionable given what he offers, has decided to transform a Lamborghini Diablo into a manga vehicle, which could have been ordered by Actarus had he called in out-of-control Ad personam services. What was once an intimidating Italian supercar has become grotesque: ground-level suspension and a brutal aerodynamics kit.
Goldorak Go!

The front end becomes a sharp arrow, featuring a ribbed grille. The headlamps are unrecognizable, switching to vertical mode for "a more powerful design", according to the designer, while the lower lip of the spoiler mimics the "stealth aircraft" cut-outs of recent Lamborghinis. In profile, the silhouette is submerged by multiple sharp creases, multiplying the lines to the point of overdose. The rear wings are extended by a huge spoiler that gives the impression of a batmobile crossed with a Bioman villain. But all this is supposed to "generate downforce" and optimize cooling.

The massacre continues at the rear, where a "grille" diffuser echoes the enormous spoiler. Four tailpipes sit high under the spoiler, while the headlamps are now a pair of four round headlamps. The word "beast" proudly nails the coffin of elegance beneath the tailpipes. Speaking of which, the company proudly proclaims that the windscreen is the only part of the exterior left original - everything else is custom, in case you had any doubts.

Watch out for sidewalks
The modifications make the entire Diablo 57 centimetres longer (of which more than 30 centimetres has been gained in hood length) and 36 centimetres wider (i.e. 2.40 metres!), enough to rub in any parking lot. To turn heads, Value Progress has painted it in a color known as Italian Red and replaced the wheels with a set measuring 19 inches at the front and 20 at the rear axle.

The interior is unknown (phew?) and, on the engine side, the site simply mentions the presence of the V12. No way of knowing if the mechanics have been touched. Maybe all the budget went into the bodywork! This unique Diablo (fortunately) celebrated its public debut at the Osaka Auto Meeting.

To create a car full of dreams and waste, something that today's Japanese automakers would never do. It's truly a vehicle you won't find anywhere else in the world. Value Progress.
