We took a close-up look at the Ferrari 499P Modificata: the hypercar you'll never see on the road.

Last weekend at the Circuit du Vigeant, the public at the prestigious Sport & Collection event, 500 Ferraris against cancer, had the privilege of discovering a machine straight from another world: the Ferrari 499P Modificatachassis number 083.

A customer version... more powerful than the original

Derived from the official 499P that won the 2023 and 2024 Le Mans 24 Hours, this Modificata version is not restricted by the "Balance of Performance" imposed in competition. Result: 880 hp under the pedal, i.e. 200 more than the car entered in the WEC. And that's not all. Thanks to its "Push to Pass" technology, the driver can temporarily release an extra 163 hp for 7 seconds. A real rocket, exclusively for selected customers within the framework of the Ferrari Sport Prototipi Clienti.

The 499P Modificata is not homologated for road use or competition. It is aimed at wealthy gentlemen drivers, ready to invest 5 million euros for the ultimate experience: that of driving a racing machine on the world's most beautiful circuits, without worrying about logistics or maintenance, entirely taken care of by Ferrari. The manufacturer offers a complete follow-up, supervised by "Corse Clienti" engineers, telemetry experts, physical preparers, and even a driver ambassador, Olivier Beretta, to accompany owners in their apprenticeship.

Model #083 in French colors

The example presented to Sport & Collection is all the more special in that it sports the blue-white-red colors of the French flag, the number 83 (a nod to AF Corse's 499P #83 in WEC), and the name and logo of Charles Pozzi, Ferrari's historic importer in France. The livery pays tribute to the passion of the French for the Maranello brand, and underlines Ferrari's commitment to its most prestigious French customers.
