There was a time when Ferrari was very fussy and even intractable when it came to extreme "customizations" and modifications to his supercars. We talked about it a few months ago. However, Ferrari seems to have changed its policy somewhat, convinced no doubt by the conquest of new markets and new affluent audiences with little regard for "tradition" and "good taste".
Ferrari has given the green light
Proof of this is the SF90, produced in a limited series of 25 with a kit developed by Venuum Black, with the approval and collaboration of Maranello. The days of the red-only F40 and the lawsuits against Koenig are long gone! As you can see, the Ferrari logo still appears. Venuum Black is a Dubai-based tuning company which, as its name suggests, specializes in all-black body kits, a strong trend in tuning for several years now.

The Ferrari SF90 offered with the Venuum kit is a bit special, since it's a "VX Darth Vader", inspired by the famous antagonist of the Star Wars saga, the Sith lord of the Black Order in the service of the Empire. The paintwork is inspired by Darth Vader, with an all-matt black exterior, enhanced by subtle touches of blue reminiscent of the character's lightsaber. As far as we can tell, no mechanical alterations have been made. The car is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine, combined with electric motors. The track-oriented version can generate almost 1,000 hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, with a top speed of over 330 km/h.

A Mansory-style body kit
The kit also includes new front and rear bumpers, wider fenders and side skirts. Additional options include a front lip, a front bumper air intake, a rear bumper air outlet splitter, a new engine hood, a rear trunk spoiler and a roof spoiler. The whole thing is a little reminiscent of Mansory and its forged carbon inserts...in short, it's still hideous and vulgar! While we're at it, they could have taken the concept to its logical conclusion and inserted neon lightsabers or made an interstellar destroyer interior.

This is not the first time that the world of supercars has encountered the universe of George Lucas' saga. A few years earlier, Porsche had designed a spaceship, created in collaboration with Lucasfilm, the Tri-Wing S-91x Pegasus Starfighter, which was presented at the premiere of Star Wars, Episode IX: Skywalker's Ascension in Los Angeles.

Unfassbar!
