For their first year of participation in the GT2 championshipWith the Maserati MC20, the teams who opted for it made a wise choice. The latest race at Misano is a clear demonstration of this. In the overall standings of this race, the LP Racing team brilliantly placed the Maserati GT2 in first place, while another Maserati GT2 took third place. In the Pro-Am category, the Maserati also took the lead, and did the same in the Am category. It was the fourth podium finish in a single weekend for these Italian cars.
On their land, the Maserati GT2s confirmed their dazzling form. In Race 1, LP Racing's 2 Maserati GT2s finished on the overall podium (1 and 3). The TFT Racing Maserati GT2 came third in the AM category. In Race 2, LP Racing took second place, while TFT Racing's Maserati GT2 finished first in its AM category.
In the Pro-Am team standings, after two races (Paul Ricard and Misano), the LP Racing team is in first place, while TFT Racing, in the AM category, is in second place. See you at the next race, on June 27-29, at SPA Francorchamps.
