Ferrari F40

The Ferrari F40 is one of the most legendary Ferraris of all time. Introduced in 1987, it celebrated 40 years of Ferrari and was the last Ferrari personally approved by Enzo Ferrari before his death in 1988. Designed without compromise, the F40 adopts a radical philosophy: maximum lightness, raw power, no electronic assistance and aerodynamics dictated by performance. Powered by a twin-turbo V8 - a first for a road-going Ferrari of this magnitude - it became the world's fastest production car.

Racing versions based on the Ferrari F40

Ferrari F40 LM (1989): Lighter, extensively modified version developed by Michelotto, power increased to ≈720 hp, intended for GT and endurance racing.
Ferrari F40 GTE (1994-1996): Ultimate GT1 homologated evolution, around 660 hp, raced in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
