147 GTA (sporty version with V6 Busso 3.2 engine)
147 Ducati Corse (special series with black and red finish, based on 1.9 JTDm 170 hp)
147 BlackLine (design-oriented finish with black elements and special wheels)
147 TI (sport finish with sport chassis, 17/18" wheels and reinforced brakes)
I owned a 147, ordered new in October 2000 just after the Paris Motor Show, where it was presented and delivered in May 2001.
It replaced the Alfa 145 boxer I owned at the time.
A Sterling Grey 147 TS 120 Distinctive. No particular options, it was very well equipped for its time and very, very well finished.
For the record, the first series had a handle to adjust the seat's recoil, which was covered by a piece of soft plastic.
I've driven it almost 80,000 kms without the slightest problem, apart from a loose exhaust bracket at the very beginning.
An excellent car with impeccable handling and comfort far superior to its rivals at the same price. The 120 hp was more than enough to move its 1.2 T and reach reprehensible speeds.
