When Alfa Romeo unveiled in March 2020 Giulia GTA and GTAmthe automotive world went wild. Produced in only 500 examples and priced from €171,600 (incl. VAT) for the GTA and €176,400 (incl. VAT) for the GTAm in France, these radical sedans already seemed destined for a collector's future. Four years on, the prophecy is confirmed: advertisements are flourishing on specialist sites such as AutoScout24, and some are now fetching prices close to €300,000 or more.
The GTAm, the most extreme Giulia ever

Based on the Giulia Quadrifoglio, the GTA and GTAm push the concept to the limit. Under the hood, the prepared 2.9 twin-turbo V6 develops 540 hp, 30 hp more than the Quadrifoglio, while intensive work on materials lightened the car by 100 kg. The result is an exceptional power-to-weight ratio of 2.82 kg/hp.

The GTAm version goes even further, with roll bar, bucket seats, harness, polycarbonate windows, and even the removal of the rear seat. A true road-approved machine, but designed for the track.

From new prices to soaring speculation
In 2021, buying a GTA or GTAm meant entering a very closed circle. Alfa Romeo offered a unique customer experience, including personalized delivery, bespoke cover, Bell helmet and dedicated driving course. All elements that reinforce the model's aura of exclusivity.

Today, the gamble has paid off:
- A Giulia GTAm priced at €375,000 with just 35 km on the clock was recently spotted in Spain.
- Other examples with very low mileage are selling for between €265,000 and €295,000 in the Netherlands and Italy.
- Even 2021 models with a few kilometers already exceed €250,000.
To put it plainly, any GTAm in near-new condition has become an object of speculation, and there's no sign of the curve reversing.
Should we turn to a "fake" GTAm?

For those who dream of the GTAm's muscular silhouette, but find the budget too daunting, there's an alternative. This summer, a Maserati dealer in France offered 2016 Giulia Quadrifoglio manual transmission equipped with a complete Koshi Group body kit. Twin-turbo 510 hp V6 engine, GTAm look (hood, fenders, diffuser, spoiler...), but without the technical refinements or exclusivity of the real thing. All for €75,000. A far cry from the €300,000, but obviously without the collector's value.
Already an icon
Whether you love it for its performance, its exclusivity or simply its spectacular design, the Giulia GTAm is sure to become a future collector's item. Buyers who invested in 2020 have made the right choice: their car is now worth twice as much. There's no doubt that low-mileage models, especially those under 1,000 km, will continue to climb in price.

Ich liebe alfa romeo damit bin ich gross geworden
The best of Alfa Romeo with these Giulia GTA and GTAm, Quadrifoglio sublimated. You had to buy them new, because there's no equivalent among sports sedans.
