Montreal'in V8\u00abi V6 versiyonunda homologe edilmi\u015fti, ancak bu sadece bir \u00bbperde' g\u00f6revi g\u00f6rmek ve onur kurtarmak i\u00e7indi, \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc Alfa Romeo asl\u0131nda Lancia Thema'n\u0131n (Alfa Romeo 164 ile taban\u0131n\u0131 payla\u015fan bir otomobil) V6's\u0131n\u0131 temel alan modifiye edilmi\u015f bir motoru tercih etti.
