Criado no final dos anos 80 para celebrar os 40 anos da <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/pt\/ferrari\/\">Ferrari<\/a>, A sua filosofia de conce\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 intransigente e todas as solu\u00e7\u00f5es t\u00e9cnicas s\u00e3o exclusivamente orientadas para o desempenho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Motor V8 twin-turbo e filosofia de design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O cora\u00e7\u00e3o do Ferrari F40 \u00e9 um V8 twin-turbo de 2.936 cc, c\u00f3digo F120A. A arquitetura \u00e9 baseada num V8 de 90\u00b0 com quatro v\u00e1lvulas por cilindro e duas \u00e1rvores de cames \u00e0 cabe\u00e7a por cabe\u00e7a de cilindro. O comportamento do motor lembra mais o de um carro de corrida do que o de um supercarro de estrada, gra\u00e7as a uma gest\u00e3o mec\u00e2nica e eletr\u00f3nica extremamente refinada para a \u00e9poca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ficha t\u00e9cnica do motor<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O Ferrari F40 \u00e9 alimentado pelo F120A V8, um V8 de 90\u00b0 com lubrifica\u00e7\u00e3o por c\u00e1rter seco e dois turbocompressores IHI Corporation com intercooler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A cilindrada total \u00e9 de 2.936 cm\u00b3, com um di\u00e2metro de 82 mm e um curso de 69,5 mm. A temporiza\u00e7\u00e3o baseia-se em duas \u00e1rvores de cames por banco e quatro v\u00e1lvulas por cilindro, uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o que assegura um melhor enchimento da c\u00e2mara de combust\u00e3o e uma evacua\u00e7\u00e3o mais eficiente dos gases de escape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O sistema de combust\u00edvel utiliza a inje\u00e7\u00e3o eletr\u00f3nica de combust\u00edvel desenvolvida pela Weber-Marelli, com dois injectores por cilindro, o que perfaz um total de 16 injectores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sistema de travagem e comportamento din\u00e2mico<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O sistema de travagem do Ferrari F40 \u00e9 de competi\u00e7\u00e3o, com discos ventilados e um sistema concebido para garantir resist\u00eancia e consist\u00eancia mesmo em condi\u00e7\u00f5es extremas de utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o. A filosofia geral permanece consistente com o resto do projeto: m\u00e1xima leveza, resposta imediata e uma total aus\u00eancia de compromissos sup\u00e9rfluos. Tamb\u00e9m os trav\u00f5es est\u00e3o calibrados para se adaptarem ao baixo peso do autom\u00f3vel e \u00e0s elevadas performances do V8 twin-turbo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Desempenho<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pot\u00eancia m\u00e1xima: 478 bhp DIN a 7.000 rpm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bin\u00e1rio m\u00e1ximo: 577 Nm (58,8 kgm) a 4.000 rpm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">O segredo da combust\u00e3o<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O cora\u00e7\u00e3o do projeto reside no equil\u00edbrio entre o ar e o combust\u00edvel na c\u00e2mara de combust\u00e3o. As v\u00e1lvulas de descarga s\u00e3o afinadas com uma fun\u00e7\u00e3o de sobrealimenta\u00e7\u00e3o, activada a plena carga, para fornecer um aumento tempor\u00e1rio da press\u00e3o para maximizar a propuls\u00e3o a velocidades elevadas do motor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O Ferrari F40 utiliza materiais comp\u00f3sitos como o Kevlar e a fibra de carbono em v\u00e1rios componentes da carro\u00e7aria, ajudando a reduzir o peso e a melhorar a rela\u00e7\u00e3o peso-pot\u00eancia e a capacidade de resposta din\u00e2mica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nas vers\u00f5es mais extremas, foram utilizadas velas de igni\u00e7\u00e3o Champion G59C.
