Ap\u00f3s um ano catastr\u00f3fico em 2025, marcado por um preju\u00edzo recorde de 26,3 mil milh\u00f5es de d\u00f3lares, alguns observadores consideram que o grupo j\u00e1 n\u00e3o tem escolha: ter\u00e1 de simplificar radicalmente a sua carteira de marcas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta \u00e9 a posi\u00e7\u00e3o do analista de neg\u00f3cios Chris Buxton, que acaba de publicar uma longa e particularmente dura an\u00e1lise da estrat\u00e9gia do construtor franco-italiano-americano. E entre as suas muitas propostas, uma frase resume perfeitamente a sua vis\u00e3o: \u00abPeugeot, Opel, Vauxhall, DS e Abarth devem passar a ser Fiat rebadged\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stellantis, v\u00edtima da sua pr\u00f3pria complexidade<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Para Chris Buxton, o principal problema do Stellantis n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas a eletrifica\u00e7\u00e3o ou o abrandamento do mercado autom\u00f3vel mundial. Segundo ele, o grupo est\u00e1 a sofrer sobretudo de uma estrutura que se tornou demasiado pesada e incoerente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde a fus\u00e3o entre a FCA e a PSA em 2021, a Stellantis reuniu catorze marcas de autom\u00f3veis: Jeep, Ram, Dodge, Chrysler, Fiat, Peugeot, Citro\u00ebn, Opel, Vauxhall, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Maserati, DS e Abarth. Este vasto portef\u00f3lio tinha inicialmente como objetivo reunir plataformas e reduzir os custos de desenvolvimento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mas, segundo o analista, esta promessa nunca foi efetivamente cumprida. Considera que o Stellantis manteve demasiadas duplica\u00e7\u00f5es, demasiadas redes separadas e, sobretudo, demasiados ve\u00edculos concorrentes dentro do pr\u00f3prio grupo. Na sua an\u00e1lise, cita nomeadamente o caso da Peugeot, da Citro\u00ebn, da Fiat, da Opel e da Vauxhall, que se dirigem aos mesmos clientes europeus com modelos tecnicamente muito semelhantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00abA Europa n\u00e3o pode suportar cinco marcas generalistas do mesmo grupo\u00bb.\u00bb<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Chris Buxton considera que o grupo Stellantis deve agora abandonar a ideia de manter v\u00e1rias marcas europeias independentes de grande dimens\u00e3o. Na sua opini\u00e3o, a Fiat deve voltar a ser a marca de volume global do grupo, com ve\u00edculos simples e econ\u00f3micos produzidos em grande escala. As outras marcas europeias, como a Peugeot, a Opel, a Vauxhall, a DS e a Abarth, deveriam ent\u00e3o tornar-se simples variantes regionais dos modelos Fiat ou desaparecer gradualmente como fabricantes de autom\u00f3veis aut\u00f3nomos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para o analista, \u00aba Europa n\u00e3o pode suportar cinco marcas de grande dimens\u00e3o que se sobrep\u00f5em num mesmo construtor\u00bb. O analista considera ainda que Stellantis cometeu um erro ao tentar reposicionar a Fiat nos \u00faltimos anos para segmentos mais premium. Em vez disso, a marca italiana deveria regressar a uma filosofia muito mais popular e pragm\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">O regresso de um Fiat simples e acess\u00edvel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Na vis\u00e3o de Chris Buxton, a Fiat deve concentrar-se em autom\u00f3veis compactos e econ\u00f3micos que custem menos de 25.000 d\u00f3lares, com foco na redu\u00e7\u00e3o de custos e na simplicidade t\u00e9cnica. O analista menciona mesmo a ideia de eliminar alguma da tecnologia considerada desnecess\u00e1ria para os clientes. Ele imagina modelos que utilizam controlos f\u00edsicos convencionais para o ar condicionado, deixando o Apple CarPlay e o Android Auto gerir a navega\u00e7\u00e3o e o infotainment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Segundo ele, a atual subida dos pre\u00e7os do petr\u00f3leo poderia tamb\u00e9m favorecer este tipo de ve\u00edculo simples, leve e econ\u00f3mico em termos de combust\u00edvel. O petr\u00f3leo Brent est\u00e1 atualmente acima dos 120 d\u00f3lares, num contexto de tens\u00f5es em torno do Estreito de Ormuz, o que coloca a quest\u00e3o da efici\u00eancia energ\u00e9tica de novo na ordem do dia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jeep, Alfa Romeo e Lancia: pap\u00e9is muito diferentes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Chris Buxton n\u00e3o est\u00e1 apenas a atacar as marcas europeias generalistas. No entanto, ilustra um debate que est\u00e1 a tornar-se cada vez mais presente em torno de Stellantis: poder\u00e1 o grupo continuar a apoiar tantas marcas num mercado autom\u00f3vel sob press\u00e3o?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre a eletrifica\u00e7\u00e3o, os investimentos tecnol\u00f3gicos maci\u00e7os, a ascens\u00e3o dos construtores chineses e o abrandamento de v\u00e1rios mercados ocidentais, alguns analistas consideram que os grandes grupos autom\u00f3veis ter\u00e3o inevitavelmente de simplificar as suas estruturas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De momento, a Stellantis continua oficialmente a defender todas as suas marcas.
