Foi o auge do Cosworth V8, que equipava a grande maioria dos carros da grelha, mas <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/pt\/ferrari\/\">Ferrari<\/a> destaca-se pelo seu motor plano de 12 cilindros.  Esta s\u00e9rie \u00e9 apelidada de \u201cNiki Lauda\u201d, em homenagem ao campe\u00e3o austr\u00edaco que colocou a Scuderia de volta aos eixos e marcou profundamente este per\u00edodo da F1. Um chassis que foi utilizado nos Grandes Pr\u00e9mios de Espanha e do M\u00f3naco durante a louca temporada de 1976 foi aqui conduzido por Chris McAllister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sucesso, mas sem o calor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Recrutado pelo Commendatore no final de 1973, Lauda rapidamente silenciou os c\u00e9pticos e tirou o m\u00e1ximo partido do novo 312T concebido por Mauro Forghieri. Em 1975, ele trouxe o t\u00edtulo de volta para a Scuderia, ap\u00f3s uma seca de 11 anos e a vit\u00f3ria de John Surtees em 1964. No entanto, o ambiente nos vermelhos n\u00e3o era t\u00e3o feliz. O car\u00e1cter e a franqueza do austr\u00edaco ofenderam a imprensa italiana e, no seio da Scuderia, um cl\u00e3 \u201citaliano\u201d parecia preferir o piloto su\u00ed\u00e7o nascido em It\u00e1lia, Clay Regazzoni. Em 1976, a gest\u00e3o desportiva foi assumida por Daniele Audetto, que tinha anteriormente dirigido a Lancia nos ralis. Audetto foi destacado para a Ferrari como chefe de equipa, tendo Montezemolo sido chamado para a Fiat como executivo s\u00e9nior. Durante os trabalhos na sua propriedade, a retroescavadora que operava capotou e quase o matou. Sofreu ferimentos graves nas costelas. A hist\u00f3ria espalhou-se. Para al\u00e9m do esc\u00e1rnio, parte da imprensa, sobretudo em It\u00e1lia, duvida da sua capacidade de recupera\u00e7\u00e3o r\u00e1pida e pressiona para a contrata\u00e7\u00e3o de um piloto transalpino, enquanto alguns membros da equipa da Ferrari pressionam para que Clay Regazzoni se torne o n\u00ba 1. Lauda sente-se tra\u00eddo por estas manobras, especialmente porque Enzo Ferrari parece estar a deixar a situa\u00e7\u00e3o apodrecer. Em Espanha, Lauda cortou rela\u00e7\u00f5es com a imprensa italiana, depois de ter tamb\u00e9m criado pol\u00e9mica ao dizer a um jornalista que\u00a0<em>\u00abOs condutores italianos s\u00f3 s\u00e3o bons para conduzir \u00e0 volta da igreja da sua aldeia.\u00bb<\/em>\u00a0Por outras palavras, tamb\u00e9m alienou os seus pares na pen\u00ednsula, incluindo Arturio Merzario, que sentiu que o austr\u00edaco tinha bloqueado o seu caminho para a Scuderia em 1974. E, no entanto, foi Merzario que o salvou das chamas alguns meses mais tarde...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Intoc\u00e1vel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>No M\u00f3naco, Lauda conquista a sua segunda pole position da \u00e9poca, \u00e0 frente do seu companheiro de equipa Regazzoni. Os Ferraris ocupam a primeira linha e dominam a competi\u00e7\u00e3o. No entanto, a sua mente estava noutro lugar, pois a sua mulher Marlene tinha sofrido um aborto espont\u00e2neo. A situa\u00e7\u00e3o interna complica-se quando Niki Lauda discute as poss\u00edveis instru\u00e7\u00f5es de corrida a favor de Clay Regazzoni. \u201cNo final do ano, um de n\u00f3s ter\u00e1 de sair, isso \u00e9 \u00f3bvio\u00bb.\u00bb \u00a0<a>diz<\/a>-disse \u00e0 sua comitiva sobre a dire\u00e7\u00e3o desportiva.
