No recente sal\u00e3o Motor Passion em Avignon, Fran\u00e7a, esteve em exposi\u00e7\u00e3o um bote de corrida Alfa Romeo, constru\u00eddo pelo fabricante Lucini &amp; Frigerio. Este modelo de 1972 estava numa classe pr\u00f3pria, alimentado por um motor bialbero 1300 de 4 cilindros. Recordava-nos a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00abCavalli Marini\u00bb, \"cavalos de mar\" na l\u00edngua de Dante, que tinha tido lugar alguns anos antes no Museo Storico d'Arese. Foto de Nicolas Anderbegani para a Italpassion<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quando a Alfa Romeo era um grupo multi-produtos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A marca com sede em Mil\u00e3o tinha um ramo da Alfa Romeo Industrie que estava presente no sector da aeron\u00e1utica com a Alfa Romeo Avio e no sector dos transportes comerciais com a Alfa Romeo Veicoli Industriali. Autocarros, tr\u00f3leis, cami\u00f5es e motores de avi\u00e3o faziam parte da produ\u00e7\u00e3o da Biscione, que contribuiu para o esfor\u00e7o de guerra italiano durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial. A Alfa Industriale equipou barcos de recreio, vaporetti de Veneza (at\u00e9 barcos de pesca!) e tamb\u00e9m os famosos \u00abbarcos explosivos\u00bb MTS (Motoscafo Turismo Silurante) utilizados pela Regia Marina durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial para tentar afundar os navios Aliados, barcos r\u00e1pidos que utilizavam o motor 6C 2500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde os anos 30 at\u00e9 aos anos 80, a Alfa Romeo foi um dos principais intervenientes nas competi\u00e7\u00f5es e tentativas de recorde de barcos a motor, acumulando t\u00edtulos em It\u00e1lia, na Europa e em todo o mundo. A It\u00e1lia, pot\u00eancia mar\u00edtima e destino de f\u00e9rias, sempre foi um dos ber\u00e7os da moton\u00e1utica. A Maserati e a Ferrari tamb\u00e9m tentaram a sua sorte, motorizando barcos de corrida nos anos 50, incluindo o hidroavi\u00e3o Timossi Ferrari Arno XI de 1953, que era alimentado pelo V12 do 375 F1 da Scuderia Ferrari. Desde os anos 80 e 90, foi a Lamborghini que entrou no mundo das corridas mar\u00edtimas, com motores potentes, incluindo os V12 que equipam os Inshore F1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Motores de F1<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>No campo da moton\u00e1utica, os motores adequados para uso mar\u00edtimo eram fornecidos exclusivamente para uso tempor\u00e1rio e geridos diretamente pelo departamento de competi\u00e7\u00e3o da Alfa Romeo. O famoso motor do 158, projetado em 1938 por Gioacchino Colombo, era um 8 cilindros em linha de 1,5 litros alimentado por um compressor Roots. Castoldi tinha o uso exclusivo do motor 158 nas competi\u00e7\u00f5es de barcos a motor desde 1938. E foi ele que, em 1943, salvou alguns Alfettas, escondendo-os na sua quinta, a salvo dos bombardeamentos e das requisi\u00e7\u00f5es de guerra. Mas teve um fim tr\u00e1gico para o seu piloto estrela. A sua carro\u00e7aria foi fabricada em liga de alum\u00ednio aeron\u00e1utico produzido pelo departamento Agusta Helicopters. A popa foi pintada com as cores dos avi\u00f5es da Alitalia, uma homenagem \u00e0 colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com este sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O \u00abCelli\u00bb de 1970 foi o primeiro de 4 2500 barcos equipados com o motor de embarca\u00e7\u00e3o Montreal-Autodelta.
