Depois de uma patente j\u00e1 surpreendente para um chassis \u00abativo\u00bb, o fabricante sediado em Maranello est\u00e1 de volta com uma ideia ainda mais desconcertante: um motor V12 completamente novo, que pode muito bem redefinir a pr\u00f3pria forma como os motores de combust\u00e3o interna s\u00e3o concebidos na era da eletrifica\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por detr\u00e1s deste projeto, recentemente revelado atrav\u00e9s de v\u00e1rias patentes registadas no USPTO e analisadas pelo CarBuzz, est\u00e1 uma vis\u00e3o arrojada: salvar o V12... transformando-o radicalmente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Um V12 como nunca viu antes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>No papel, a Ferrari est\u00e1 a falar de um motor de doze cilindros. Mas, na realidade, n\u00e3o se trata de um V12 cl\u00e1ssico nem de um flat-12. A ideia baseia-se na montagem de dois motores de seis cilindros em linha, dispostos em forma de V. Uma subtileza que, na verdade, esconde uma rutura total com as conven\u00e7\u00f5es mec\u00e2nicas. Para evitar que os componentes se sobreponham, a Ferrari concebeu uma disposi\u00e7\u00e3o quase digna da engenharia espacial: um motor virado para a frente, o outro para tr\u00e1s, cada um associado ao seu pr\u00f3prio gerador el\u00e9trico, posicionado em extremos opostos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Um V12... que n\u00e3o acciona as rodas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A verdadeira revolu\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o se fica pela forma do motor. Este V12 funciona de acordo com uma l\u00f3gica h\u00edbrida em s\u00e9rie. Em termos pr\u00e1ticos, os motores de combust\u00e3o nunca est\u00e3o ligados diretamente \u00e0s rodas. A sua fun\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 bem diferente: gerar eletricidade. Esta energia alimenta depois os motores el\u00e9ctricos respons\u00e1veis pela propuls\u00e3o do autom\u00f3vel. Trata-se de uma arquitetura j\u00e1 conhecida na ind\u00fastria, mas que raramente foi utilizada a este n\u00edvel de desempenho, e nunca com tanta sofistica\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nesta configura\u00e7\u00e3o, a Ferrari prev\u00ea um funcionamento inteligente. Durante as fases de baixa exig\u00eancia, um \u00fanico motor de combust\u00e3o \u00e9 suficiente. Mas assim que o condutor exige pot\u00eancia m\u00e1xima, os dois motores de 6 cilindros entram em a\u00e7\u00e3o simultaneamente. Os dois motores partilham uma conduta comum, ligada por uma v\u00e1lvula capaz de modular o fluxo de gases em fun\u00e7\u00e3o do n\u00famero de motores activos. O objetivo \u00e9 duplo: otimizar a evacua\u00e7\u00e3o dos gases e manter a temperatura ideal do catalisador. Mais surpreendente ainda \u00e9 o facto de a Ferrari planear controlar a fase de igni\u00e7\u00e3o dos dois motores de forma independente. Em vez disso, a Ferrari prev\u00ea dois motores de pequena cilindrada, capazes de manter a carga da bateria e dar apoio em per\u00edodos de grande procura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uma filosofia que remete para as origens da marca, com o primeiro Colombo V12 de apenas 1,5 litros na d\u00e9cada de 1940. Uma homenagem \u00e0 hist\u00f3ria, mas sobretudo a prova de que a Ferrari nunca deixou de inovar em torno desta arquitetura lend\u00e1ria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta patente n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas um exerc\u00edcio de estilo. Ela ilustra at\u00e9 que ponto um fabricante como a Ferrari est\u00e1 disposto a ir para preservar o motor de combust\u00e3o e, em particular, o V12. Resta saber se este conceito alguma vez ver\u00e1 a luz do dia.
