No papel, a estrat\u00e9gia parecia l\u00f3gica num contexto de acelera\u00e7\u00e3o da eletrifica\u00e7\u00e3o da ind\u00fastria autom\u00f3vel. Mas, na realidade, o mercado deu um veredito brutal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hoje, os diretores da Fiat e da Abarth admitem, sem grande convic\u00e7\u00e3o, que esta transi\u00e7\u00e3o total para a energia el\u00e9ctrica foi um beco sem sa\u00edda. E a marca do Escorpi\u00e3o est\u00e1 agora a considerar seriamente um regresso... ao motor de combust\u00e3o interna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Uma gama el\u00e9ctrica 100 % que n\u00e3o conseguiu encontrar o seu p\u00fablico<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A gama europeia da Abarth \u00e9 atualmente composta por apenas dois modelos: as vers\u00f5es desportivas do Fiat 500 e do Fiat 600 SUV: o <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/pt\/carros\/abarth-500e\/\">Abarth 500e<\/a> e <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/pt\/carros\/abarth-600e\/\">Abarth 600e<\/a>. Particularidade: estes dois autom\u00f3veis s\u00e3o exclusivamente el\u00e9ctricos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O problema \u00e9 simples: as vendas n\u00e3o est\u00e3o a acompanhar o ritmo. De acordo com os n\u00fameros relatados pelos meios de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o brit\u00e2nicos Autocar, a Abarth vendeu apenas 291 carros no Reino Unido em 2025, em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com 1027 em 2024, um ano em que a lend\u00e1ria Abarth 595 t\u00e9rmica ainda estava dispon\u00edvel. Al\u00e9m disso, de acordo com as nossas informa\u00e7\u00f5es, em It\u00e1lia, 104 Abarth 600e e 73 Abarth 500e foram registados em todo o ano de 2025... Sim, nem sequer 200 Abarths em toda a It\u00e1lia em 2025!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este decl\u00ednio n\u00e3o \u00e9 um facto isolado. Desde o desaparecimento, em 2024, dos Abarth 595 e 695 a gasolina, a marca apoia-se apenas nos 500e e 600e, modelos cujo pre\u00e7o e aus\u00eancia de motor de combust\u00e3o interna afastaram uma grande parte da sua clientela de longa data. Esta constata\u00e7\u00e3o confirma o que afirm\u00e1mos h\u00e1 v\u00e1rios meses: a transi\u00e7\u00e3o el\u00e9ctrica da Abarth traduziu-se em <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/pt\/abarth\/a-estrategia-100-eletrico-dabarth-e-um-fracasso-os-numeros-provam-no\/\">um colapso dos volumes<\/a> e uma perda de identidade da marca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Os entusiastas apelam ao regresso do motor de combust\u00e3o interna<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>O problema n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas de desempenho ou de n\u00fameros de vendas. Afecta tamb\u00e9m o pr\u00f3prio ADN da Abarth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O diretor da Fiat e da Abarth na Europa, Gaetano Thorel, admite-o agora abertamente. Segundo ele, os clientes de longa data da marca n\u00e3o procuram apenas pot\u00eancia. Mas com um carro el\u00e9trico, tudo isto se torna imposs\u00edvel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abOs Abarths el\u00e9ctricos s\u00e3o muito potentes, mas um Abarthista n\u00e3o consegue p\u00f4r as m\u00e3os num\u00bb, admite Thorel. \u00abPor isso, estamos a estudar a possibilidade de refazer um Abarth t\u00e9rmico... se lhe conseguirmos dar o ADN certo.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por outras palavras, a dire\u00e7\u00e3o da marca compreende agora que os autom\u00f3veis el\u00e9ctricos n\u00e3o est\u00e3o totalmente em sintonia com a cultura dos entusiastas que constru\u00edram a reputa\u00e7\u00e3o do Scorpion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">O Grande Panda poder\u00e1 dar origem a um novo Abarth<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Neste contexto, um novo projeto come\u00e7a a ganhar forma. Segundo a Autocar, a Abarth j\u00e1 est\u00e1 a trabalhar numa vers\u00e3o desportiva do Fiat Grande Panda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O novo Grande Panda baseia-se na plataforma Stellantis Smart, uma arquitetura compat\u00edvel com v\u00e1rios tipos de motores: a gasolina, h\u00edbridos e el\u00e9ctricos. Esta base poderia assim permitir \u00e0 Abarth regressar a um territ\u00f3rio mais familiar. Embora o projeto ainda n\u00e3o tenha sido oficialmente aprovado para produ\u00e7\u00e3o, a ideia de um Abarth Grande Panda est\u00e1 a ser estudada internamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quando questionado sobre esta possibilidade, Gaetano Thorel mant\u00e9m-se cauteloso, mas deixa claramente a porta aberta. \u00abVamos certamente explorar a heran\u00e7a da Abarth noutros modelos\u00bb, afirma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Fiat est\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m a considerar um sistema h\u00edbrido original inspirado no <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/pt\/fiat\/fiat-grande-panda-4x4-mas-o-que-e-que-esta-por-baixo\/\">Conceito Grande Panda 4\u00d74<\/a>, que utilizaria um motor de combust\u00e3o na frente e um motor el\u00e9trico na traseira para fornecer pot\u00eancia extra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">At\u00e9 o Stellantis reconhece o problema<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais revelador ainda \u00e9 o facto de os dirigentes do grupo come\u00e7arem a admitir que a estrat\u00e9gia 100 % el\u00e9trico est\u00e1 a causar problemas \u00e0 Abarth. O Diretor-Geral da Fiat e da Abarth, Olivier Fran\u00e7ois, reconhece que os clientes esperam algo diferente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abPara um desempenho puro, os autom\u00f3veis el\u00e9ctricos s\u00e3o os melhores. Mas tamb\u00e9m sabemos que os clientes Abarth querem o som e a experi\u00eancia de condu\u00e7\u00e3o pura\u00bb, explica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta frase resume na perfei\u00e7\u00e3o o atual dilema da marca. O desempenho el\u00e9trico pode ser impressionante, mas n\u00e3o reproduz a emo\u00e7\u00e3o mec\u00e2nica pela qual os pequenos Abarths italianos s\u00e3o conhecidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">No entanto, o retorno da energia t\u00e9rmica continua a ser muito complicado<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Embora a ret\u00f3rica possa estar a mudar na Abarth, a realidade industrial e regulamentar continua a ser muito mais complexa. Como <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/pt\/abarth\/o-regresso-dos-abarths-a-gasolina-esta-nas-maos-da-europa-eis-as-explicacoes-tecnicas-e-financeiras\/\">como explic\u00e1mos no final de 2025<\/a>, o verdadeiro obst\u00e1culo n\u00e3o \u00e9 t\u00e9cnico, mas sim regulamentar. As normas europeias relativas \u00e0s emiss\u00f5es de CO\u2082 tornam extremamente dif\u00edcil a comercializa\u00e7\u00e3o de pequenos autom\u00f3veis desportivos t\u00e9rmicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mesmo um autom\u00f3vel urbano h\u00edbrido como o novo Fiat 500 j\u00e1 tem cerca de 120 g\/km de CO\u2082, muito acima do objetivo m\u00e9dio europeu fixado em cerca de 81 g\/km. Cada grama em excesso implica uma penaliza\u00e7\u00e3o de 95 euros por carro vendido para o fabricante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nestas condi\u00e7\u00f5es, o lan\u00e7amento de um Abarth t\u00e9rmico moderno poderia resultar em penaliza\u00e7\u00f5es de v\u00e1rios milhares de euros por ve\u00edculo. Uma equa\u00e7\u00e3o financeira dif\u00edcil de conciliar com a imagem de desportivo acess\u00edvel que sempre fez o sucesso da marca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aconte\u00e7a o que acontecer, as recentes declara\u00e7\u00f5es dos diretores da Abarth marcam uma grande rutura com o passado. Durante v\u00e1rios anos, Stellantis defendeu firmemente uma vis\u00e3o em que os pequenos desportivos el\u00e9ctricos substituiriam naturalmente os modelos de combust\u00e3o interna. Hoje, por\u00e9m, a sua vis\u00e3o \u00e9 muito mais matizada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Dire\u00e7\u00e3o reconhece agora que os clientes n\u00e3o est\u00e3o preparados para abandonar completamente o motor de combust\u00e3o interna, especialmente numa marca t\u00e3o emocional como a Abarth. O futuro Grande Panda desportivo poder\u00e1, portanto, tornar-se um laborat\u00f3rio estrat\u00e9gico para o futuro do Scorpion.
