Gra\u00e7as a regulamentos permissivos que davam r\u00e9dea solta aos engenheiros, as berlinas com carro\u00e7aria do DTM come\u00e7aram a parecer prot\u00f3tipos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Alfa Romeo surpreendeu com o 155 V6 4\u00d74, apanhando a Mercedes de surpresa e ganhando os t\u00edtulos de condutores e construtores! Com o seu diferencial, caixa de 6 velocidades, ABS, v\u00e1lvulas de tit\u00e2nio, eletr\u00f3nica e tra\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s 4 rodas, era um avi\u00e3o de combate, alimentado por um V6 de 2,5 litros e 60\u00b0 derivado do Busso e que desenvolvia 430 cv. Em 1994, a Mercedes trocou o 190E pelo C-Klasse V6 e a estrela voltou \u00e0 ribalta com a conquista do t\u00edtulo por Klaus Ludwig, mas a Alfa Romeo continuava a ter um desempenho muito bom com in\u00fameras vit\u00f3rias. Em 1995, o DTM internacionalizou-se e tornou-se o ITC. Este foi o apogeu deste enorme campeonato, com corridas por toda a Europa, bem como no Jap\u00e3o e no Brasil. Em pista, as estrelas do DTM (Schneider, Ludwig, Thiim) cruzam-se com os veteranos da F1 (Modena, Tarquini, Lehto, Nannini) e com os jovens (Jan Magnussen, Fisichella, etc.). Os carros eram verdadeiros prot\u00f3tipos disfar\u00e7ados e os custos subiram em flecha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Um novo V6 para 1996, em parte franc\u00eas!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Para contrariar o C-Klasse V6 e o Opel Calibra 4\u00d74, a Alfa Romeo est\u00e1 a atualizar o seu monstro com um novo V6 a 90\u00b0, um \u00e2ngulo considerado mais eficiente pelos engenheiros de motores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/v6-prv.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-47349\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/v6-prv.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/v6-prv-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/v6-prv-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/v6-prv-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">V6 GRP 90<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>O problema \u00e9 que os regulamentos exigem que o motor seja um modelo de produ\u00e7\u00e3o. Bem, \u201cde s\u00e9rie\u201d \u00e9 uma palavra grande: os cilindros t\u00eam de ter o mesmo \u00e2ngulo e a mesma dist\u00e2ncia entre centros. O resto \u00e9 consigo! O \u00fanico motor a 90\u00b0 produzido em quantidade pela Alfa Romeo foi o do... Montreal!  O V8 do Montreal foi homologado numa vers\u00e3o V6, mas apenas para servir de \u00abecr\u00e3\u00bb e salvar a honra, porque a Alfa Romeo optou por um motor modificado baseado no V6 do Lancia Thema (um carro que partilhava a sua base com o Alfa Romeo 164). E este V6 era nada mais nada menos que o famoso... V6 PRV!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Truque de m\u00e3o<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Como \u00e9 que este motor, desenvolvido pela Peugeot, Renault e Volvo, foi parar a um Lancia? Quando o Thema foi lan\u00e7ado em 1984, um V6 parecia essencial para apoiar o posicionamento de status da elegante berlina italiana. Na altura, por\u00e9m, a Fiat n\u00e3o tinha nenhum V6 no seu banco de \u00f3rg\u00e3os e a Alfa Romeo ainda n\u00e3o tinha sido adquirida pelo grupo, tornando o Busso V6 inacess\u00edvel. Compacto, leve, flex\u00edvel e com bin\u00e1rio a baixas rota\u00e7\u00f5es, o PRV \u00e9 uma escolha sensata. Bem, o truque era o seguinte: A Alfa Romeo tinha sido comprada em 1986 pela FIAT, que tinha ent\u00e3o fundido as duas marcas sob a \u00e9gide da Alfa-Lancia Industriale. Para al\u00e9m disso, o Thema era montado em Arese, o cora\u00e7\u00e3o hist\u00f3rico de Biscione. Isto significa que um motor V6 do Thema pode ser considerado \u201cin-house\u201d!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Isso n\u00e3o foi suficiente<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De acordo com o gestor de projeto Sergio Limone, a Alfa Romeo manteve-se discreta em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a este truque. Por raz\u00f5es \u00f3bvias de marketing, teria sido pouco glamoroso admitir as origens estrangeiras do motor do V6 Ti. A pot\u00eancia subiu para 490 bhp, mas n\u00e3o foi suficiente para bater os alem\u00e3es mais afiados, e o desenvolvimento do 155 foi interrompido. Inacredit\u00e1vel) O DTM chegou ao fim no final da \u00e9poca, devido \u00e0 subida em flecha dos custos e \u00e0 insuficiente cobertura medi\u00e1tica.
