E h\u00e1 meses que Mike Burroughs, da Stanceworks, l\u00ea a mesma pergunta nos seus v\u00eddeos: \"A Ferrari vai cair-lhe em cima, n\u00e3o vai?\" A fantasia do correio deste advogado \u00e9 algo que ele conhece de cor. E no seu \u00faltimo epis\u00f3dio, ele vai direto ao assunto: se <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/pt\/ferrari\/\">Ferrari<\/a> se reagisse, acredita que j\u00e1 o teria feito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Acima de tudo, salienta que <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/pt\/ferrari\/\">Ferrari<\/a> n\u00e3o est\u00e1 verdadeiramente interessada no facto de os entusiastas modificarem os autom\u00f3veis. O que desencadeia uma rea\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 o \"branding\": emblemas, utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o do nome, explora\u00e7\u00e3o da identidade da marca. De passagem, cita um dos casos mais famosos: a pol\u00e9mica Deadmau5 e a pintura \"Nyan Cat\", em que o problema n\u00e3o era a personaliza\u00e7\u00e3o em si, mas tudo o que ela implicava em termos de imagem da marca. E \u00e9 precisamente a\u00ed que o seu plano \u00e9 claro: nada de emblemas da Ferrari. Ele insiste que n\u00e3o est\u00e1 a apresentar a sua cria\u00e7\u00e3o como \"um Ferrari\" no sentido legal ou comercial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\"Chamo-lhe F40... mas n\u00e3o \u00e9 um Ferrari\".<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Burroughs assume a responsabilidade: chama ao seu carro \"<a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/pt\/carros\/ferrari-f40\/\">F40<\/a>\"Isto porque ele acredita que est\u00e1 a construir um F40 em esp\u00edrito, uma m\u00e1quina que tem a pele, as propor\u00e7\u00f5es, o ADN visual, mas n\u00e3o um Ferrari feito pela Ferrari. At\u00e9 leva o argumento um pouco mais longe com uma compara\u00e7\u00e3o interessante: no mundo dos desportos motorizados hist\u00f3ricos, ningu\u00e9m gosta de dizer que um Mustang Protofab 'n\u00e3o \u00e9 um Mustang' porque tudo \u00e9 tubular e quase nenhuma pe\u00e7a \u00e9 original. Identificamo-lo pelo que representa e pela sua silhueta. Aos seus olhos, a sua abordagem \u00e9 semelhante. A ideia n\u00e3o mudou: tomar a F40 como ponto de partida e, em seguida, fazer o mesmo \"intervalo\" que o F40 de estrada para o F40 LM. O seu propriet\u00e1rio deixou claro: n\u00e3o estava \u00e0 procura de um GT confort\u00e1vel ou de um carro de exposi\u00e7\u00e3o. Ele quer uma m\u00e1quina brutal, f\u00edsica e exigente. E mesmo que o chassis do carro pare\u00e7a \"grande\" na chapa, lembra-nos que estamos a falar de um tamanho total de cerca de 4,4 m, com uma dist\u00e2ncia entre eixos curta, um motor enorme, rodas muito recuadas e sali\u00eancias acentuadas. Como resultado, o habit\u00e1culo \u00e9 o aspeto mais restritivo do projeto. O motor V12 penetra na zona atr\u00e1s do banco, mas sem prejudicar a posi\u00e7\u00e3o de condu\u00e7\u00e3o. Ele tamb\u00e9m insiste na filosofia: as suas escolhas n\u00e3o s\u00e3o ditadas pelo conforto. O interior ser\u00e1 o de um carro de competi\u00e7\u00e3o: nada de luxo, nada de grand touring e provavelmente nada de ar condicionado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">E os tanques?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Momento interessante: a quest\u00e3o dos dep\u00f3sitos de combust\u00edvel. Nas F40 europeias, estamos a falar de bladders (dep\u00f3sitos de combust\u00edvel flex\u00edveis), que s\u00e3o substitu\u00eddos regularmente e custam entre 15 000 e 20 000 euros o par. Ele refere que existem dep\u00f3sitos compat\u00edveis \"espec\u00edficos para a F40\" de fabricantes conhecidos, mas que continuam a ser muito caros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/f40-reservoir.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-46664\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/f40-reservoir.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/f40-reservoir-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/f40-reservoir-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/f40-reservoir-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>O seu problema \u00e9 a realidade do seu chassis: acrescentou tanta estrutura que os dep\u00f3sitos concebidos para um F40 original podem n\u00e3o servir. Ele n\u00e3o quer gastar muito dinheiro s\u00f3 para \"ver se serve\". A solu\u00e7\u00e3o mais prov\u00e1vel \u00e9 optar por uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 medida, mas manter a localiza\u00e7\u00e3o original e reutilizar as tampas de enchimento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">O 812 Superfast V12<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>No centro do projeto estava um V12 do tipo F140 (retirado de um 812 Superfast acidentado), que se afirmava ter 800 cv de pot\u00eancia de f\u00e1brica. Burroughs tocou num ponto muito importante: depois de ter experimentado um motor muito vibrante no seu outro projeto (o <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/pt\/ferrari\/ferrari-244-gtk-um-ferrari-308-gtb-de-1000-cv-com-um-motor-honda\/\">308 244K<\/a>), n\u00e3o quer voltar a cometer o mesmo erro. Burroughs fez uma escolha radical: uma caixa sequencial Holinger de 6 velocidades, com patilhas no volante e assist\u00eancia pneum\u00e1tica, mas com um pedal de embraiagem para arrancar e parar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Peso<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ele tamb\u00e9m desmascara um mito: os pesos \"internet\" do F40 de cerca de 1090 kg fazem pouco sentido quando o carro est\u00e1 pronto a conduzir. Na sua opini\u00e3o, um F40 em condi\u00e7\u00f5es de circular na estrada pesa cerca de 1350 kg, dependendo das variantes e configura\u00e7\u00f5es, e o seu objetivo \u00e9 conseguir algo compar\u00e1vel, se n\u00e3o melhor, gra\u00e7as a um chassis potencialmente mais leve. O seu sonho seria menos de 1100 kg, mas ele pr\u00f3prio diz: isso \u00e9 otimista!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No final, construiu um F40 \"\u00e0 sua maneira\", com pe\u00e7as de carro\u00e7aria reais, uma estrutura interna e componentes Ferrari onde fazia sentido para a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o e consist\u00eancia. N\u00e3o se trata de um kit-car disfar\u00e7ado de Ferrari.
