N\u00e3o por causa de um duelo em pista ou de uma revela\u00e7\u00e3o aerodin\u00e2mica espetacular (apesar das imagens dos testes de Barcelona), mas em torno de um assunto muito mais sens\u00edvel: a legalidade do motor Mercedes na nova era t\u00e9cnica que vai come\u00e7ar em Melbourne. Um novo desenvolvimento pode amea\u00e7ar o equil\u00edbrio do campeonato, mesmo antes de ser dada a primeira luz verde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">O cerne do problema<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>No centro da controv\u00e9rsia est\u00e1 o novo regulamento relativo aos motores de 2026, que reduz a taxa de compress\u00e3o m\u00e1xima dos V6 h\u00edbridos para 16:1. No papel, a regra \u00e9 clara. Na pr\u00e1tica, \u00e9 muito menos. At\u00e9 agora, os testes t\u00eam-se baseado em medi\u00e7\u00f5es efectuadas \u00e0 temperatura ambiente, com o motor frio. No entanto, de acordo com a Ferrari, a Audi e a Honda, este m\u00e9todo deixa uma zona cinzenta suficientemente grande para permitir uma interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o vantajosa quando o motor est\u00e1 em condi\u00e7\u00f5es reais, ou seja, quente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A suspeita em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao motor Mercedes \u00e9 a seguinte: um motor perfeitamente conforme nas verifica\u00e7\u00f5es est\u00e1ticas pode, uma vez \u00e0 temperatura, apresentar uma taxa de compress\u00e3o superior ao limite autorizado. Algumas pessoas no paddock est\u00e3o a falar de um ganho potencial de dois a quatro d\u00e9cimos por volta, ou mesmo de cerca de 15 cavalos extra. Estes n\u00fameros est\u00e3o longe de ser insignificantes em v\u00e9speras de uma mudan\u00e7a nos regulamentos que supostamente colocar\u00e1 todas as equipas em p\u00e9 de igualdade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Mercedes defende-se e denuncia uma batalha pol\u00edtica<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A Mercedes, por seu lado, sempre rejeitou todas as acusa\u00e7\u00f5es. Toto Wolff insistiu em v\u00e1rias ocasi\u00f5es que o motor desenvolvido em Brixworth respeita o texto, os procedimentos de teste e o esp\u00edrito dos regulamentos. Para o construtor alem\u00e3o, o problema n\u00e3o \u00e9 t\u00e9cnico, mas pol\u00edtico, com alguns rivais a tentarem desviar o debate por n\u00e3o terem encontrado uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o com o mesmo desempenho. Esta linha de defesa firme n\u00e3o foi suficiente para acalmar as preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A reviravolta da Red Bull<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>O caso sofreu uma nova reviravolta com a mudan\u00e7a de posi\u00e7\u00e3o da Red Bull. Inicialmente suspeita de explorar uma interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o semelhante, a equipa austr\u00edaca n\u00e3o s\u00f3 negou qualquer envolvimento, como tamb\u00e9m optou por se juntar oficialmente \u00e0 frente liderada pela Ferrari, Audi e Honda. Ao assinar <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/pt\/concurso\/formula-1\/a-ferrari-a-audi-e-a-honda-escreveram-a-fia-sobre-as-vantagens-do-novo-motor-mercedes\/\">a carta de protesto enviada \u00e0 FIA<\/a>A Red Bull inverteu o equil\u00edbrio de for\u00e7as.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta reviravolta est\u00e1 longe de ser simb\u00f3lica. Para alterar os procedimentos de testes durante a \u00e9poca, n\u00e3o \u00e9 necess\u00e1ria a unanimidade. Basta uma maioria qualificada: a FIA, a F\u00f3rmula 1 e quatro dos cinco construtores de motores. Com a Red Bull no campo dos dissidentes, a Mercedes arrisca-se a ficar sozinha contra o resto do pelot\u00e3o. Uma situa\u00e7\u00e3o que torna muito prov\u00e1vel a ado\u00e7\u00e3o de um novo protocolo de testes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Novos testes no Grande Pr\u00e9mio da Austr\u00e1lia?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A solu\u00e7\u00e3o prevista pela FIA consistiria em medir a taxa de compress\u00e3o utilizando componentes desgastados a quente, de forma est\u00e1tica, a fim de se aproximar das condi\u00e7\u00f5es reais de utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o em pista. Esta altera\u00e7\u00e3o permitiria resolver a quest\u00e3o da legalidade de forma r\u00e1pida e clara, sem deixar margem para interpreta\u00e7\u00f5es. Segundo os relatos, este novo m\u00e9todo poderia ser introduzido j\u00e1 no Grande Pr\u00e9mio da Austr\u00e1lia, tornando in\u00fatil qualquer protesto oficial na corrida de abertura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No entanto, por detr\u00e1s deste desejo de apaziguamento, existe um grande dilema. Alterar os crit\u00e9rios de teste antes da homologa\u00e7\u00e3o final dos motores, prevista para 1 de mar\u00e7o, exp\u00f5e a FIA e a FOM a um risco jur\u00eddico consider\u00e1vel. A Mercedes poderia denunciar uma altera\u00e7\u00e3o das regras a meio do processo, com graves consequ\u00eancias desportivas, econ\u00f3micas e comerciais. Por outro lado, manter o status quo significaria iniciar a temporada sob uma nuvem de suspeita, com a perspetiva de uma cascata de recursos desde as primeiras corridas.
