Primeiro autom\u00f3vel de produ\u00e7\u00e3o no mundo com um motor V6, esta berlina, cujo nome deriva da famosa estrada romana que liga Roma ao sul da G\u00e1lia, era a combina\u00e7\u00e3o perfeita de luxo e desportivismo, o ADN da Lancia. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/pt\/lancia\/\">Lancia<\/a>. Regressou como coup\u00e9 no Sal\u00e3o Autom\u00f3vel de Turim de 1951: o B20 GT, que evoluiu para seis s\u00e9ries distintas, cada itera\u00e7\u00e3o capturando a ess\u00eancia do Grand Turismo. Uma ave rara, com apenas 3.872 coup\u00e9s e 761 roadsters produzidos. Inicialmente equipado com um motor de 2,0 litros, o Aurelia recebeu um motor de 2,5 litros em 1953. Equipado com um motor dianteiro e tra\u00e7\u00e3o traseira, com uma caixa manual de quatro velocidades, a sua pot\u00eancia n\u00e3o era fenomenal, mas a sua distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de peso (50\/50) conferia-lhe um equil\u00edbrio excecional, tornando-o ideal para as estradas sinuosas de It\u00e1lia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Inspira\u00e7\u00e3o: um modelo \u00fanico que correu em 1951<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>O Bracco \u00e9 o mais importante dos Lancia Aurelia B20 GTs, lan\u00e7ando as bases para a reputa\u00e7\u00e3o da Lancia no Grand Touring. Na Mille Miglia de 1951, Giovanni Bracco, um intr\u00e9pido piloto, aproveitou as terr\u00edveis condi\u00e7\u00f5es climat\u00e9ricas para prever a vit\u00f3ria absoluta, sendo apenas batido no final pelo Ferrari 340 de Villoresi. O seu desempenho, ao volante de um carro quase de produ\u00e7\u00e3o, surpreendeu muitos observadores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Lancia-Aurelia-B20-GT.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-45967\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Lancia-Aurelia-B20-GT.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Lancia-Aurelia-B20-GT-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Lancia-Aurelia-B20-GT-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Lancia-Aurelia-B20-GT-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Com o mesmo carro, Bracco foi ent\u00e3o \u00e0s 24 Horas de Le Mans como espetador. Como se verificou, restava um lugar na grelha, pelo que Bracco participou na corrida com o seu B20GT (uma \u00e9poca diferente!) e acabou por vencer na classe de 2 litros! Nesse mesmo ano, participou na Carrera Panamericana no M\u00e9xico. Para reduzir a resist\u00eancia aerodin\u00e2mica, Bracco mandou cortar os pilares do tejadilho, o que resultou num Aurelia mais baixo. Estava a caminho de mais uma vit\u00f3ria, at\u00e9 que saiu da estrada no quarto dia da corrida. Depois disso, o carro ficou no M\u00e9xico, onde voltou a correr em 1952, terminando em 9\u00ba lugar. E depois... nada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Restauro meticuloso<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>O carro conduzido por Giovanni Bracco era \u00fanico na medida em que tinha um tejadilho rebaixado experimental para melhorar a aerodin\u00e2mica. A equipa da Thornley Kelham pesquisou e aprendeu muito sobre as inova\u00e7\u00f5es deste Lancia e sobre o programa de desenvolvimento associado ao mesmo. As especifica\u00e7\u00f5es que tinha quando competiu na Carrera Panamericana foram meticulosamente reproduzidas. Utilizando digitaliza\u00e7\u00f5es 3D e moldes de poli\u00e9ster, a Thornley Kelham conseguiu reconstruir a traseira do carro. E s\u00f3 depois de receber a b\u00ean\u00e7\u00e3o de v\u00e1rios especialistas da Lancia \u00e9 que foi enviado para a cabina de pintura. Thornley Kelham descreve o restomod como \"um B20GT completamente modificado e completamente moderno que n\u00e3o agradar\u00e1 aos puristas\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">E porque n\u00e3o a produ\u00e7\u00e3o em pequena escala?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Apresentado no sal\u00e3o de Peeble Beach em 2014, este B20 Bracco foi recebido com entusiasmo e deu origem a uma nova ideia: produzir uma s\u00e9rie limitada de restomods Aurelia B20GT \"Outlaw\", ou seja, com actualiza\u00e7\u00f5es modernas mas sem os constrangimentos dos padr\u00f5es de restauro tradicionais. Tudo o que faltava era encontrar os carros dadores e sacar os livros de cheques dos propriet\u00e1rios! Os restauros basearam-se em carros menos procurados das S\u00e9ries 5 e 6, que j\u00e1 se encontravam num estado bastante degradado. Os pilares do tejadilho foram encurtados em 8 cm, tal como a linha do tejadilho, rebaixada em cerca de sete cent\u00edmetros para recordar o modelo original de Giovanni Bracco. Os guarda-lamas dianteiro e traseiro foram alargados, aumentando a via em 1,5 cm, e o exterior foi enriquecido com pormenores refinados, como a tampa do dep\u00f3sito de combust\u00edvel inspirada no Monza e a entrada de ar Nardi no capot.  Nenhum detalhe foi esquecido, desde as asas alargadas e as jantes de estilo Jaguar D at\u00e9 ao escape personalizado e \u00e0 barra de dire\u00e7\u00e3o melhorada. Os espelhos retrovisores arredondados s\u00e3o at\u00e9 uma cria\u00e7\u00e3o pr\u00f3pria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Um motor da fam\u00edlia Lancia e alguns componentes modernizados<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>O motor original foi substitu\u00eddo por um V6 de 2,5 litros com inje\u00e7\u00e3o de combust\u00edvel de um Lancia Flaminia, cuja capacidade foi aumentada para 2,8 litros. O para-brisas mais estreito \u00e9 feito \u00e0 medida, as janelas laterais s\u00e3o em Plexiglas e, numa alus\u00e3o ao passado de competi\u00e7\u00e3o do autom\u00f3vel, um arn\u00eas de quatro pontos \u00e9 combinado com uma barra de prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra capotamento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Um restomod apreciado pelos estetas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A Thornley Kelham n\u00e3o revelou os valores de desempenho do Outlaw, mas a pot\u00eancia dos v\u00e1rios modelos restaurados variava entre 180 e 220 bhp \u00e0s 5.100 rpm. \u00c9 pot\u00eancia mais do que suficiente para um carro de 1.200 kg. Dos v\u00e1rios modelos Outlaw, o chassis n.\u00ba 2 \u00e9 \u00fanico pelo facto de pertencer a Danny Sullivan, um antigo piloto de F1 e CART que venceu as 500 milhas de Indian\u00e1polis em 1985. Os toques pessoais de Sullivan inclu\u00edram bancos Ferrari, pedais Tilton e um volante Lancia mais pequeno. A linha do tejadilho inclinada feita \u00e0 m\u00e3o, que faz lembrar os carros cl\u00e1ssicos americanos, ainda causa um grande impacto visual, o charme ainda funciona ap\u00f3s todos estes anos. A beleza intemporal dos autom\u00f3veis italianos! Um exemplar foi vendido em leil\u00e3o por 533.000 d\u00f3lares em 2025.
