O Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft (DRM), o antecessor do DTM, utilizou este regulamento de 1977 a 1981, at\u00e9 que a categoria foi abolida no final de 1982 a favor do Grupo B, mas os Gr.5 continuaram a competir no IMSA GTX e noutros campeonatos nacionais de carros desportivos durante mais alguns anos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Os regulamentos limitavam a largura normal da carro\u00e7aria, mas permitiam asas mais largas. Apenas o capot, o tejadilho, as portas e as embaladeiras deviam permanecer inalterados. Tudo o resto era deixado ao crit\u00e9rio do engenheiro. Em suma, os construtores tinham total liberdade para brincar com a aerodin\u00e2mica, utilizar materiais ultra-leves ou instalar enormes turbocompressores. Um excelente exemplo \u00e9 o monstruoso Ford Capri Zakspeed, cuja vers\u00e3o twin-turbo de 1,7 litros, alimentada por um turbo KKK, podia debitar 600 cv. Para um autom\u00f3vel com menos de 800 kg, esta pot\u00eancia conferia-lhe um desempenho excecional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Um projeto alem\u00e3o<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Muitos fabricantes tentaram a sua sorte, com diferentes graus de apoio da f\u00e1brica: A Lancia com o Stratos e depois com o Beta Monte Carlo, a BMW com o 320 Turbo, a Porsche com o 935, a Lotus com o Esprit e at\u00e9 a Toyota com o Celica! E todos eles, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/pt\/alfa-romeo\/\">Alfa Romeo<\/a> tamb\u00e9m fez algumas apari\u00e7\u00f5es! Uma vers\u00e3o Grp.5 do Alfetta GTV foi desenvolvida para o DRM e correu l\u00e1 entre 1979 e 1981. O projeto foi uma colabora\u00e7\u00e3o entre a Isert Motorsport (que construiu o carro), a Sachs Racing (suspens\u00e3o) e o Dr. Schrick, que contribuiu para o design do motor. Com a sua cilindrada, o carro era eleg\u00edvel para a Divis\u00e3o 2 do Grupo 5. A primeira vers\u00e3o de teste tinha transmiss\u00e3o por corrente e foi convertida para transmiss\u00e3o por correia em 1981. Este carro foi tamb\u00e9m o \u00fanico DRM a experimentar a inje\u00e7\u00e3o eletr\u00f3nica de combust\u00edvel, antes de ser finalmente equipado com a inje\u00e7\u00e3o mec\u00e2nica Kugelfischer. Este GTV Gr5 \u00e9 uma verdadeira manta de retalhos da Alfa, com trav\u00f5es traseiros do Rallye Alfetta Gr.4 e pin\u00e7as retiradas do Tipo 33.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Um olhar estranho, ainda mais em 1981!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Todos os pain\u00e9is exteriores da carro\u00e7aria s\u00e3o de pl\u00e1stico, com exce\u00e7\u00e3o do tejadilho. Para al\u00e9m das vias mais largas, a extremidade dianteira apresenta um enorme spoiler, que tem uma semelhan\u00e7a impressionante com o do Grupo B Quattro S2 lan\u00e7ado alguns anos mais tarde. Ao mesmo tempo, a pintura branca (que, de acordo com algumas fotos, tamb\u00e9m era predominantemente amarela) mudou para vermelho! Produzido em 1981, este kit tinha um nariz mergulhante e far\u00f3is bastante semelhantes aos da bomba alem\u00e3. O resultado foi altamente question\u00e1vel, al\u00e9m de tirar a sua identidade carater\u00edstica! Apenas um pequeno Scudetto nos lembrava que se tratava de um Alfa Romeo nesta bizarra roupagem.<br>\u00a0<br>N\u00e3o tendo conseguido obter resultados significativos (nem terminar uma \u00fanica corrida, devido a um sistema mec\u00e2nico debilitado pelos 400 cv e pelo turbo), o carro foi retirado no in\u00edcio de 1982, ap\u00f3s o desaparecimento da DRM. Permaneceu fora de servi\u00e7o durante muito tempo, no seu estado original, antes de ser restaurado nos \u00faltimos anos ap\u00f3s v\u00e1rias mudan\u00e7as de propriet\u00e1rio.
