Enquanto a Stellantis acaba de tomar a decis\u00e3o de p\u00f4r fim \u00e0 produ\u00e7\u00e3o e \u00e0 venda de um grande n\u00famero de modelos h\u00edbridos plug-in na Am\u00e9rica do Norte, um estudo de refer\u00eancia recentemente publicado lan\u00e7a luz sobre a fiabilidade real das diferentes tecnologias de eletrifica\u00e7\u00e3o. E os n\u00fameros s\u00e3o incontest\u00e1veis: segundo a Consumer Reports, os autom\u00f3veis el\u00e9ctricos e os h\u00edbridos plug-in t\u00eam, em m\u00e9dia, mais 80 % de problemas do que os modelos convencionais de combust\u00e3o interna. Esta constata\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 em sintonia com as recentes not\u00edcias do grupo Stellantis, mas n\u00e3o se limita ao seu caso. O estudo diz respeito a todos os fabricantes de autom\u00f3veis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Um estudo em grande escala que est\u00e1 a agitar as coisas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>O inqu\u00e9rito anual da Consumer Reports baseia-se no feedback de quase 380.000 propriet\u00e1rios, abrangendo os anos-modelo de 2000 a 2025, com alguns dados preliminares sobre os modelos de 2026. A an\u00e1lise incide principalmente nos \u00faltimos tr\u00eas anos de produ\u00e7\u00e3o, o per\u00edodo considerado mais representativo da gama atual. A primeira grande constata\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 que os h\u00edbridos n\u00e3o recarreg\u00e1veis (VHE) s\u00e3o atualmente os ve\u00edculos mais fi\u00e1veis do mercado, com cerca de 15 % menos problemas do que os ve\u00edculos de combust\u00e3o. Quanto mais recente for a arquitetura, quanto mais complexa for e quanto mais se afastar do que j\u00e1 existe, maior ser\u00e1 o risco de falha. Baterias de alta capacidade, sistemas de recarga, gest\u00e3o t\u00e9rmica sofisticada, maior depend\u00eancia do software: as fontes potenciais de avaria multiplicam-se.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A tecnologia h\u00edbrida plug-in \u00e9 demasiado complexa?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>No papel, os h\u00edbridos plug-in parecem ser um compromisso ideal. Na realidade, o estudo salienta que se trata de uma das tecnologias mais complexas de conceber e tornar fi\u00e1vel. Entre os h\u00edbridos plug-in menos fi\u00e1veis contam-se o Jeep Wrangler 4xe, o Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe e o Chrysler Pacifica PHEV. Tr\u00eas modelos emblem\u00e1ticos da Stellantis, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/pt\/stellantis\/a-stellantis-decide-suspender-subitamente-a-producao-e-a-venda-de-varios-modelos-hibridos-plug-in\/\">todos eles deixar\u00e3o de ser produzidos e comercializados na Am\u00e9rica do Norte a partir de 2026<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mas o Stellantis est\u00e1 longe de ser um caso isolado. O estudo tamb\u00e9m aponta o dedo ao Ford Escape PHEV, ao Mazda CX-90 PHEV e ao Volvo XC60 PHEV. No caso da Mazda, apesar da sua reputa\u00e7\u00e3o de fiabilidade, a introdu\u00e7\u00e3o de plataformas totalmente novas para o CX-90 e o CX-70, incluindo as vers\u00f5es PHEV, levou a uma queda significativa nos \u00edndices de fiabilidade. A Consumer Reports sublinha este ponto: as grandes mudan\u00e7as t\u00e9cnicas, mesmo em fabricantes experientes, geram frequentemente problemas compar\u00e1veis aos das marcas emergentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ve\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos: diferen\u00e7as muito acentuadas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A situa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 semelhante para os autom\u00f3veis el\u00e9ctricos. Embora, em m\u00e9dia, tenham mais problemas do que os modelos a combust\u00e3o, nem todos s\u00e3o iguais. A Consumer Reports destaca diferen\u00e7as muito claras entre os fabricantes. A Tesla surge como o fabricante que fez mais progressos nos \u00faltimos anos. Com exce\u00e7\u00e3o do Cybertruck, um modelo totalmente novo e radical, os outros ve\u00edculos da marca apresentam uma fiabilidade m\u00e9dia a superior \u00e0 m\u00e9dia. O Model Y \u00e9 mesmo considerado o novo ve\u00edculo el\u00e9trico mais fi\u00e1vel, de acordo com o estudo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por outro lado, v\u00e1rios modelos el\u00e9ctricos da Hyundai, Kia e Genesis sofrem de problemas recorrentes. As marcas premium n\u00e3o foram poupadas, mas algumas sa\u00edram-se melhor. A BMW, a quinta marca mais fi\u00e1vel na classifica\u00e7\u00e3o geral, registou pontua\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00f3lidas para os seus modelos el\u00e9ctricos i4, i5 e iX. A Lexus, a terceira marca mais fi\u00e1vel em todos os grupos motopropulsores, colocou mesmo o seu RZ entre os melhores desempenhos no segmento el\u00e9trico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Porque \u00e9 que os h\u00edbridos HEV continuam a ser os grandes vencedores<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Apesar de os h\u00edbridos n\u00e3o recarreg\u00e1veis dominarem as classifica\u00e7\u00f5es de fiabilidade, a Consumer Reports recomenda cautela na sua interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o. O seu sucesso baseia-se em grande parte na experi\u00eancia acumulada por certos construtores ao longo de quase trinta anos. Esta diferen\u00e7a de filosofia industrial explica em grande parte as discrep\u00e2ncias que se verificam atualmente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stellantis aposta no HEV?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A decis\u00e3o da Stellantis de abandonar os seus h\u00edbridos plug-in na Am\u00e9rica do Norte parece menos ideol\u00f3gica do que pragm\u00e1tica. Entre as retiradas maci\u00e7as, a complexidade industrial e a fiabilidade perfect\u00edvel, o grupo parece estar a aprender as li\u00e7\u00f5es de uma tecnologia ainda imatura em grande escala. O estudo da Consumer Reports n\u00e3o condena nem os autom\u00f3veis el\u00e9ctricos nem os h\u00edbridos plug-in. Destaca uma realidade mais matizada: nem todas as formas de eletrifica\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00e3o iguais em termos de maturidade tecnol\u00f3gica. Ao centrar-se mais nos h\u00edbridos n\u00e3o plug-in e nos ve\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos com aumento de autonomia, a Stellantis segue uma tend\u00eancia mais ampla observada em v\u00e1rios fabricantes. Resta saber se esta abordagem pode ser transposta para a Europa, onde as restri\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e0s emiss\u00f5es de CO\u2082 continuam a ser muito mais rigorosas.
