Prefigurado pelo conceito Stratos Zero da Bertone, alguns anos antes, o Stratos foi concebido para corridas e n\u00e3o era uma berlina de estrada que foi posteriormente preparada para corridas. O carro foi concebido para otimizar o trabalho dos mec\u00e2nicos, as linhas foram cortadas com uma borda serrilhada e a famosa \"viseira\" de vidro era baixa e aerodin\u00e2mica, sem esquecer o cora\u00e7\u00e3o do carro: um V6 de 2,4 litros, montado na posi\u00e7\u00e3o central traseira, que n\u00e3o era outro sen\u00e3o o motor do Ferrari Dino que Enzo Ferrari, depois de muita discuss\u00e3o e negocia\u00e7\u00e3o, concordou em fornecer \u00e0 Lancia.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O Stratos dominou o seu dom\u00ednio entre 1975 e 1978, conquistando v\u00e1rios t\u00edtulos mundiais e numerosos t\u00edtulos nacionais. A FIAT deu ent\u00e3o prioridade ao 131 Abarth para o WRC, o que relegou o Stratos para o campeonato europeu. Mas, como \u00e9 frequentemente o caso, os carros de rali desta \u00e9poca tiveram uma segunda oportunidade de vida no rallycross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-groupe-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-44353\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-groupe-5.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-groupe-5-420x213.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-groupe-5-768x389.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-groupe-5-18x9.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Um Lancia 3.0L V6 \u00fanico no mundo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De facto, existiu um \u00fanico Stratos com um motor aumentado para cerca de 3,0 litros: era uma prepara\u00e7\u00e3o experimental utilizada em rallycross, ligada \u00e0s equipas de Andy Bentza e Franz Wurz, o pai de Alexander Wurz. Filho de um piloto que se iniciou num BMW 328 nos anos 50, foi o primeiro bicampe\u00e3o europeu de rallycross, em 1974 e 1976 (com um Lancia Stratos HF 2.4). Para a \u00e9poca do Campeonato Europeu de Rallycross de 1977, Mike Parkes, o piloto e engenheiro que tinha trabalhado no prot\u00f3tipo do Stratos, forneceu uma cabe\u00e7a de cilindro de 24 v\u00e1lvulas e uma cambota especial que elevou a cilindrada do motor para pouco menos de 3.000 cm\u00b3.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-rallycrss.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-44356\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-rallycrss.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-rallycrss-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-rallycrss-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-rallycrss-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pronto para o Rallycross e campe\u00e3o!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Fabricaram pist\u00f5es de maior di\u00e2metro e efectuaram outras altera\u00e7\u00f5es de maquina\u00e7\u00e3o. O motor desenvolvia cerca de 320 cv. Como o carro n\u00e3o era suposto ser conduzido na estrada em rallycross, o escape era livre, por isso n\u00e3o havia silenciadores ou silenciadores. Bentza manteve-o at\u00e9 aos anos 80, altura em que foi finalmente vendido a Alexander Wurz.
