A marca do escorpi\u00e3o, outrora um s\u00edmbolo de desportivismo acess\u00edvel e de uma comunidade fiel, atravessa h\u00e1 dois anos uma crise sem precedentes. E as \u00faltimas declara\u00e7\u00f5es do seu patr\u00e3o europeu, Gaetano Thorel, sugerem uma viragem inesperada: um poss\u00edvel regresso aos motores de combust\u00e3o. Document\u00e1mos isto <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/pt\/abarth\/a-estrategia-100-eletrico-dabarth-e-um-fracasso-os-numeros-provam-no\/\">a partir de julho<\/a> ent\u00e3o em <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/pt\/abarth\/a-marca-abarth-desaparecera-em-silencio\/\">outubro de 2025<\/a> as vendas ca\u00edram a pique. Enquanto se esperava que a marca vendesse quase 10.000 autom\u00f3veis em 2024, est\u00e1 a lutar para ultrapassar a barreira das 2.000 unidades em 2025. Na Europa, apenas 1 030 Abarths foram registados entre janeiro e junho, em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com 4 867 no ano anterior. Uma queda de quase 80 %.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E este decl\u00ednio n\u00e3o poupou nenhum mercado: a Fran\u00e7a, a It\u00e1lia, o Reino Unido, a Espanha e at\u00e9 o Jap\u00e3o est\u00e3o a ver os seus volumes cair a pique. A situa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 agravada pelo facto de os \u00faltimos Abarth t\u00e9rmicos (595 e 695) terem sido retirados do cat\u00e1logo em agosto de 2024. Segundo ele, os clientes da Abarth n\u00e3o se identificam com os actuais modelos el\u00e9ctricos. N\u00e3o porque sejam fundamentalmente desinteressantes, mas porque j\u00e1 n\u00e3o oferecem o que tem sido a ess\u00eancia da marca durante d\u00e9cadas: a possibilidade de modificar, otimizar e mexer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"O cliente do Abarth quer um motor de combust\u00e3o, n\u00e3o apenas pela pot\u00eancia, mas porque compra o carro e depois modifica-o com as suas pr\u00f3prias m\u00e3os\", admite. \"N\u00e3o podemos fazer isso com os carros el\u00e9ctricos. Baseado numa vers\u00e3o modificada da plataforma do 500e, \u00e9 alimentado por um pequeno motor a gasolina 1.0 de aspira\u00e7\u00e3o natural com 65 cv. N\u00e3o o suficiente para entusiasmar as multid\u00f5es, \u00e9 claro, mas o suficiente para tornar poss\u00edvel trazer de volta \u00e0 vida um carro desportivo Abarth movido a combust\u00e3o... em teoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E \u00e9 a\u00ed que os coment\u00e1rios de Gaetano Thorel se tornam particularmente reveladores. Sim, a plataforma pode suportar mais pot\u00eancia. Mas n\u00e3o, o atual motor 1.0 nunca ser\u00e1 capaz de proporcionar o car\u00e1cter explosivo que os f\u00e3s esperam. \u00c9 demasiado fraco, demasiado linear e demasiado despretensioso. Existem tamb\u00e9m s\u00e9rios constrangimentos t\u00e9cnicos: a plataforma do 500e foi concebida para um motor el\u00e9trico compacto, deixando muito pouco espa\u00e7o para um motor de combust\u00e3o maior ou que exija um sistema de arrefecimento maior. Assim, a equa\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e9cnica est\u00e1 longe de ser simples. Mostra que Stellantis compreendeu que a estrat\u00e9gia atual est\u00e1 a conduzir diretamente para o muro. Mesmo o 600e, constru\u00eddo sobre uma base comum com o Alfa Romeo Junior Veloce, o Lancia Ypsilon HF e o Opel Mokka GSE, n\u00e3o consegue seduzir. A quest\u00e3o n\u00e3o \u00e9, portanto, apenas t\u00e9cnica, mas estrat\u00e9gica: vale ainda a pena investir num novo Abarth a combust\u00e3o, tendo em conta que os volumes s\u00e3o atualmente aned\u00f3ticos? Poder\u00e1 o Abarth ser reintegrado nas comunica\u00e7\u00f5es da Fiat na Europa, como acontece na Am\u00e9rica Latina, onde ainda sobrevive? Ou ser\u00e1 a marca simplesmente sacrificada numa futura racionaliza\u00e7\u00e3o da Stellantis?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O an\u00fancio n\u00e3o garante o regresso do escorpi\u00e3o rugidor. Mas confirma que a Abarth est\u00e1 finalmente a ouvir o que os seus clientes, clubes e entusiastas est\u00e3o a dizer.
