Um motor vanguardista com uma filosofia muito desportiva, inspirado nas corridas, mas que j\u00e1 tinha sido montado em autom\u00f3veis de produ\u00e7\u00e3o nos anos 1950. Para fazer face \u00e0 crescente concorr\u00eancia dos motores Ford Cosworth e BMW nas corridas de carros de turismo, a Autodelta planeou uma vers\u00e3o de 16 v\u00e1lvulas. A produ\u00e7\u00e3o do Alfa Romeo 75, incluindo a variante Turbo Evoluzione, teve de se contentar com motores de 8 v\u00e1lvulas por raz\u00f5es de custos. Al\u00e9m disso, o motor tem uma excelente reputa\u00e7\u00e3o: \u00e9 leve, forte, gosta de acelerar e tem carater\u00edsticas que o tornam ideal para a prepara\u00e7\u00e3o do turbo, gra\u00e7as a um bom controlo da press\u00e3o e do aumento da temperatura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Um Alfa Romeo Turbo Evoluzione pronto para a competi\u00e7\u00e3o<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>O Prototech possui um conjunto mec\u00e2nico constru\u00eddo em torno de uma cabe\u00e7a de cilindro autodelta de 16 v\u00e1lvulas, complementado por um exaustivo trabalho de otimiza\u00e7\u00e3o. O motor \u00e9 baseado num Alfa Romeo 2.0L refor\u00e7ado e amplamente modificado.
